how much have you watched?
I spent 20 years in an industry dominated by some of the best con men ever born, siding guys. The reality of the industry made the movie Tin Men look like a puff piece.
I spoke with so many customer/victims in that time who still were clinging to hope that they had not really bought "the story" and had actually got a deal no one else in the area could have gotten, even months and years later...long after they had no more ammunition left to explain away how they had been so easily fooled, why they were struggling to keep their homes while the con artist ate caviar and drank champagne and laughed at them.
It was sad to see how important it was for them to lie to themselves. I'm not even talking about morons, not even normally gullible people, just regular folks who believed "the story", and became suckers due to a tiny bit of greed, of being the chosen winners, of finally getting the elusive shot at the pot of gold. They were turned into what the con artists called "mooches".
Anyone who willfully denies knowledge of Trump and his father's decades of trampling people will also have the same desperate need to cling to the belief that they were not conned and are not "mooches".
But they will eventually learn they have lied to themselves.
I am sorry to be the one to inform you that you've been conned.
Preserve that for your posterity.
