actually, I've had some, up here though. I'm sure they were previously frozen even if the restaurants denied it, but they fit my flavor profile...especially the kind with the hybrid Viet seasoning (or whatever that was).
One restaurant (now closed) did seem honest when they explained they only had fresh ones like two months a year...I think April and May?
