Shipping in 1-2 days is understandable. However it seems to take atleast 5 days for delivery. Many of the cigars are dry and I have to place them in the humidor for 3-4 days to recharge. Is the quicker shipping available? At the price you charge for shipping you could deliver in 2-3 days.

They charge a pretty standard rate for shipping. Where are you located?

One thing to consider - this is a discount cigar auction site. Pricing is why we’re here, not service. Additionally, the rule of thumb is to let your newly received cigars acclimate to their new surroundings and either re or dehydrate for anywhere from 3 to 12 weeks. Of course ymmv.

They’re shipped wetter than I’d store them, but by all means you do you.

If you know who to text tasteful nudes to, you get bonus cigars and free overnight shipping.

Placed an order last night, thought it was going to show up Friday and I thought damn that’s quick, went in to my confirmation email to verify, clicked on the tracking info which still shows it was merely a label that was created and hasn’t been picked up just yet. Called home to let them know to expect a package as early as Friday, was told it was already delivered earlier this afternoon. Too many impatient folks like to moan when we don’t have instant gratification, kudos to CI and their lightning fast delivery for getting my delivery to its destination within hours.

Sounds like your pretty close to the mothership. I'm in Jersey and normally most shipments from most online places get to me next day since they all ship from Eastern PA. Love it.

I'm in Western PA. Whenever a eastern PA retailer uses the UPS to USPS service my package goes to NJ, then to OH, then they give it to USPS in PA. Ends up taking 4 to 5 days. Makes no sense but IIWII.

That's crazy. I know UPS and USPS have some racket going on where UPS will deliver to USPS then on to the customer. That relay can add a couple of days. In your case the regional for UPS might be in Jersey and USPS in Ohio, that may be the issue. Honestly 🤷‍♂️ that's probably a reach. I'd call the various places and see if you can request not to use "surepost". I think that's what they call it.

Summer isn’t the best time to buy cigars online imo.
Prices generally are up.
And sometimes, your package can sit in some pretty hot conditions, for too long…
Winter is cigar buying season for me…..

I agree. Prices are definitely lower as sales decline for the winter season.

Maybe put it on hold from 10 - 25 December. Shipping is definitely slower and if you’re bidding the bids seem to be higher. Not sure how many of you guys are still buying cigars from the bidding sites though.
