For today’s Special Auction, I’ve rounded up 10 Churchills (7”x48) and started the bidding out with nearly 60% savings. The magic happened when founder Alan Rubin discovered a special 2006 Corojo wrapper leaf grown in the region of southern Honduras called Trojes. He built a flavorful blend around this consisting of Nicaraguan, Honduran, and additional long-fillers from the Trojes region. The result is a deep, rich cigar with notes of roasted coffee, leather, chocolate, and subtle hints of red pepper on the finish. Box-pressed in true Cuban tradition, Alec Bradley Prensado is a full-bodied premium that has become a staple in the humidors of seasoned cigar vets.
