Handmade in the tiny Miami-based El Rey de Los Habanos factory, Serie JJ is said to be Pepin’s best blend to date. To create it, Jose worked closely with his son Jaime to perfect the ultimate marriage of premium, aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. The outer leaf is a bold Nicaraguan Corojo that’s dark and oily. Inside, a powerful mixture of Nicaraguan-grown Criollo and Corojo tobaccos. The result is a heady smoke layered with full-bodied, eventful flavors. Earthy, spicy, leathery, but balanced and buttery smooth. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
