Gurkha stands tall among the highest tier of ultra-premium handmade cigars. Carefully blended by Kaizad Hansotia using the finest tobaccos money can buy, each cigar is a work of art that pays homage to the tradition of hand-rolled cigars. Over a century of tradition goes into every cigar that carries the Gurkha name, a name that is often referred to as the "Rolls Royce" of cigars. Gurkha cigars, proving that a great cigar is much more than just a cigar, it’s an unforgettable experience to last a lifetime.
Without further ado, we give you "His Majesty’s Reserve." The most expensive cigar in the world. Featured in Maxim Magazine, normally this elusive cigar can only be acquired at the top casinos of the world, or by specially ordering a box through Gurkha directly.
Far from commonplace, "His Majesty’s Reserve" is one of the rarest super-premiums in the world, due to the ingredients used and time consuming process to complete each cigar. The binder and filler tobaccos hail from the Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic. This valley is well known for producing the Dominican’s finest, most sought after leaves. With each crop, every Dominican Cuban Piloto leaf cultivated is hand inspected, yielding the smallest of percentages for "His Majesty’s Reserve." To complete this blend, only the silkiest, highest-grade Connecticut shade wrappers are chosen. Prior to an aging period of 5 years, this choice leaf is fermented for 7 months to achieve optimum color and flavor.
Still, "His Majesty’s Reserve" is not complete. After the fermentation and aging processes have been completed, the tobaccos are slowly introduced to the luxurious subtleties of Louis XIII Cognac. This exquisite cognac is considered to be the best in the world, commanding a price of $1,300 per bottle. This gradual infusion requires a minimum of 1 year to complete.
When all is said and done, the Gurkha "His Majesty’s Reserve" offers an experience that few will ever have the chance to experience. But, those that do will savor every last buttery-smooth puff. A deliciously balanced bouquet of rich, creamy flavors mingle with a mouthwatering aroma to complete the super-premium of super-premiums.
Each bid is for one (single) cigar.
