Russ Ouellette, who blends the Hearth & Home tobaccos, had a favorite mixture from the seventies. He would take a tin of Balkan Sobranie Original Smoking Mixture and add a bit more Yenidje (a fragrant Oriental tobacco) and some Perique to the blend. When Russ started blending the H&H line in 2005, it was always in the back of his mind to try to match his old favorite. In 2010, he hit upon the combination now known as Magnum O!, which has met with critical acclaim. It's smoky and sweet with exotic incense-like notes and a touch of spice.
