Balkan Sobranie Original Smoking Mixture was a legendary blend that's changed a number of times over the years. If you talk to long-time pipe smokers, they tend to say that the best version was from the late sixties through the seventies. Hearth & Home blender Russ Ouellette used to love the blend during that era and decided to take on the daunting task of coming up with a mixture that would capture the flavor and aroma of that classic tobacco. It contains the same general components as BSOSM - sweet Virginias, exotic Orientals (including the famed Yenidje) and Cyrian Latakia.
