Ramon Bueso Odyssey. The sophmore release from Ramon Bueso, and a cigar that'll flip the script on Connecticut-wrapped premiums.
The Odyssey is a different breed of Connecticut-wrapped handmades, and it all begins with the wrapper. Grown in the coveted valleys of Honduras, the Oddsey's Connecticut wrapper is dark, oily, and seamless, yielding a deeper, richer flavor with ample charisma. A thick wrapper, lovingly draped around a complex mixture of Cuban-seed long-fillers from Copan, Ometepe, Condega, and the Cibao Valley. Each smoke-filled puff promotes a bold yet balanced bouquet of flavors, including nuts, wood, coffee, sweet cream, and cocoa. The medium-bodied core is toasty and satisfying. The finish is long and elegant. The aroma is sweet and toasty. The cigar, is....well, a lovely follow-up to Genesis and a deliciously eventful twist on the Connecticut-wrapper arena.
