Carlos Torano is making some of the best cigars in the business right now, quietly plying his craft and focusing on quality - and people are noticing. His Exodus was created to mark the departure of the great cigar makers from Cuba during the Communist revolt, and it’s considered by many to be his best to date.
The Exodus 1959 starts with some great eye candy, including the impeccable presentation, gorgeous boxes, and most of all the stunning aesthetics of the cigar itself. It’s hard to pull your eyes away from the wrapper - it looks like a river of dark chocolate, simply gorgeous. After lighting, you immediately notice a creamy, slightly spicy, and almost chocolately note. The taste is medium to full-bodied, powered mainly by the H-2000 wrapper, accompanied by a complex, five-country blend of Dominican, Honduran, Mexican, Nicaraguan, and Costa Rican tobaccos.
Each bid is for one (1) single cigar.
