Graycliff represents one of the cigar industry’s finest and highest quality cigars. Handmade in the Bahamas by a tiny team of just 12 master-rollers, each cigar is the product of Avelino Lara’s cigar-making genius, who also happens to be the creator of the original Cuban Cohiba. Graycliff cigars are made in true boutique fashion, using exquisite, patiently aged tobaccos and meticulous construction.
The Espresso series, otherwise known as the knee-knockin’ "Black Label" is quite possibly the most heavily sought blend within the illustrious Graycliff family of ultra-premiums. Graced by a dark and juicy Costa Rican maduro wrapper, one that’s loaded with oils and boasting a nice, toothy texture, the Espresso features a bold, 6-year-old mixture of Cuban-seed Corojo, Ecuadorian ligero, and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Expertly blended, this cigar burns slow and cool, unleashing a robust bouquet, including notes of chocolate, coffee, and licorice, with a toasty, peppery aftertaste.
Avelino Lara took things up a notch by crafting a singular blend in a stout 4.5" x 54 firecracker of a size. The Double Espresso boasts two times the ligero to offer even deeper layers of rich, intoxicating flavors.
Graycliff Espresso has been rated ’90’ or better on several occasions, and is a member of Cigar Aficionado’s Top 50 Cigars.
