Ernesto Perez-Carrillo reached cigar-making stardom for his production and maintenance of the famed La Gloria Cubana brand. His creative genius turned this fabled brand into a full-bodied, full-flavored giant loved by many. After decades of churning out deliciously complex and amazing consistent handmades under the legendary LGC name, Ernesto has released a new family of super-premiums under his own name, E.P. Carrillo.

E.P. Carrillo is all about flavor. A medium to full-bodied lovely crafted into a beautiful series of generous and scrumptious sizes. To create this line, a gorgeous Ecuador Habano wrapper was chosen, one that is dark, leathery to the touch and glistening with oils. After three years of aging, this choice leaf encloses a vintage recipe of Nicaraguan and Dominican Piloto Cubano long-fillers, secured by two feisty Nicaraguan binders. The end result: eventful. A rich and creamy core of wood and toast is met with peppery notes, sweet nuances, and a luxuriously zesty aroma. E.P. Carrillo is dee-lish, but one should expect nothing less from one of the industry’s premier cigar artisans.
