Ears still ringing from last night's performance of Dweezil Zappa and the Others of Intention.

They brought a new set list of Frank Zappa for fans to hear live again.

Many favorites played from Freak Out, 200 Motels, Apostrophe, Sheik Yerbouti, and Joe's Garage.

The encore was a brilliant stroke of genius...the band with very special guest Michael Winslow...yeah the guy from Cheech and Chong and Police Academy fame...performing Cosmic Debris...such a great show.

Tom Tom Club - debut....one of those guilty pleasures I was hesitant to acknowledge....as opposed as I normally am to....disco.....dance...synth....drum machines....etc.....I justified it to myself by repeating 'this is the offspring of the Talking Heads, so its OK'.....lol

Totally agree...I put them with Information Society and The Thompson Twins. Little guilty pleasure that just seem to grow where planted.

Tom Tom Club - Tom Tom Club

Thanks to Dave's guilty pleasure confession. In 1981, this was a fairly fresh sound and I forgot how infectious the songs were.

The Clash - London Calling (Legacy Edition)

Released in the US 37 years ago? Sheesh, where'd the time go? When it first came out, I remember going to the local CBS Records office and grabbing 6 demo copies of it. "Let's see, one for the store, one for me, Dean, Earl, Al and Kevin in Berkeley. Is that enough?" The good ol' days....

74 F / 68% RH / 7 mph - nice day, high of 85, no rain in sight but tomorrow could be a different story
