His name is Ennis Harkins. He wears blue pants and shirt.

I've never seen him but he lets me know he's around. Lights on and off, doors open and shut, loud noises, ect. Typically he doesn't bother the regular guys so much. He is very curious about guests though.

I don't recall if FGM had a run-in with him or not.

I know y'all will think I'm nuts, but I swear I believe in him. Something weird goes on there. Too much stuff has happened to discount it all.

Been there done that. The house I grew up in.

Not saying I'm for it but many states do it. It doesn't mean the the deer in your area will leave. Is the new law allowing hunting over the bait? Don't like that....Not fair chase!

I'm NOT saying that I'm for it because it not only draws the deer but more importantly increases the likleyhood of spreading diseases like CWD or Circleing disease.

Remember that the 'SIP has the second largest deer herd in the country...Close to 2M...many more and nature starts thinning the herd through disease.

The Biologists may see something we don't know?

Well I've seen what feeding can do to my seeing deer.

I have a sweet spot that we love to hunt. It always produces deer. Last season we didnt see a deer on it all season. Found out in January why...... A camp member was dumping corn about 250 yards from my plot.

Talk about pissed! I spent hours hunting all for naught.

Well he's my roommate. We are good enough buds that I could tell him how bad he sux.

Hunting means something very different to him....

I hunt purely for meat. Honestly, I don't even carry a gun anymore. Ocho shoots all our deer for us. Typically 2 does to fill the freezer then he hunts for a buck.
My buddy is only after a big buck. He will let multiple deer walk to find the one he wants.

I've learned hunting means different things to each person.

Yep. Passed so many bucks last season just to hunt the one that we decided was our goal. We have plenty of does to thin out and only a couple of cull bucks. Checking cameras this week for the opener Oct.1. only take what gets us through the year without left overs. Never bait. Don't need to.

Crawfish are in season during the spring.

So you don't eat boiled crawfish this time of year. They have to be live when you drop them in boiling water.

But you are safe having some frozen meat.....

I love some Crawfish Pie!!!!

I know, but they are great in a bunch of other things.... they stay together really well, so stews and soups are always great for leftover crawfish.....

Well, the Moose Manor gang will hope to make it again. Somebody has to be there to show the damn hose jockeys how to drive and park their apparatus. I'm guessing that CFD doesn't have an EVOC requirement.

Miss all of you already Big Hug

I'm talking about the official whole number version, not this weird half herf thing y'all are yaking about now. 10.5? Do y'all just smoke Nubs and Shorty cigars at that one? (and yeah, I totally left this whole comment up there for someone to totally take the conversation "south" as we say up here)

Come to think of it, that whole "this conversation is really headed south" could be a sort of slam against all y'all down there. I never looked at it like that before. I guess I always thought it was a verticality reference meaning the stuff is piling up around my feet and I need to find my boots.

Shoot, is it too early to start drinking? I am doing to much thinking.

Anyone that knows sweet Jules couldn't find offense in anything said. My admiration is deep enough that you get a free pass on just about anything.

And when a conversation goes South, it's not referring to geography.

Hug Grumpie for me!

Okay, I can blame Tex. Do not get me started on EOC Coordinators. As an EMS SpecOps Commander, I have had many run ins with Ops SC's and EOC Coordinators/IC's who just don't get what we do. I have learned to say "yes sir" and then do it our way. As long as EMS is handled, they end up not caring how it gets done.
