Whelp.... I'm certain the Native American Indians find our stars and stripes to be offensive. The atrocities we perpetrated on them was far worse than anything else we've done as a country.

Time to stop flying the flag... pack all our ****, and get the hell out of their country.

Wiping out an indigenous native culture is completely irrelevant compared to black racism and 150yr old slavery. Besides, it was their fault for being on our land before we got here.

I ordered a book the other day about the GA 7,000 Volunteers CSA Army. My Gr.Gr. Grandfather was in the GA 40th Regiment, Company A.

I had long known this, but didn't know anything about their movements. I learned tonight he fought at Cumberland Gap under Gens. Bragg & Forest.

I always thought he only was in camp when he succumbed to disease. Tonight I found out it was after they fought in Kentucky.

I'm proud of your family history, bro! I have similiar roots as well. I need to try to learn more about the details & movements of my GGF, who was a 1LT in the CSA.

You guys do realize why despite a pretty bad history, the US is still able to fly it's flag, right?

I mean... you can't be that dense, can you?

All nations get to fly their flag until they lose a war. But I sence you are trying to make a point.....

Now what could it be? Hmmmmm.

The state of SC should have never flown the flag of a fallen nation. Here in Texas we handle it much better; we fly all five of the flags of the fallen nations that occupied this land. Of course you have to go to an amusement park to see them.

I don't think it was ever a national flag but I'm not really sure. I thought it was just a battle flag.

By cracky, you're right.
But the second two of the three of their flags had the infamous "X" - as love by the Duck Dynasty crowd and their brethren.

And Six Flags Over Texas flys the first flag. The one without the X.

Apparently when Obama was in Nashville yesterday, he was greeted by s bunch of people flying Confedetate flags. LoL. Gotta Love it.

One witness said, "I'm not terribly partial to the Confederate flag as a “person of color” myself, but the way it’s been politicized has really pissed me off. The entire country is acting like race relations is a game of “capture the flag".

Meanwhile, back at the ranch .., TPP is being passed.

Bubba Watson, a leading professional golfer who owns a "General Lee" race car, had the rebel flags removed.
So I figure that qualifies him as an honorable southern man.

Too bad though, prolly ruined the value of the car.....
