Interesting plan, but how do you go from being a 'cigar' to the other ranking? I think its more like the more posts you have the fewer brain cells....so you'd go from say, Rocket Surgeon to knucklehead. Or even further, as in Busa's post count, amoeba.....

What do you think?

Ah, there in lies the art of the game. Cbid could not only gage, but indicate by badge the standing of posters.

1st posting could rank "Valued Customer" and 1,000 posts "Idiot Savant ". Demerits could be assessed.....
Well, maybe that would be a bit too complex. Besides, some folks might take it that you don't like us. But other sites do it with success. I feel certain that titles could be found that are equally rewarding and derisive.

You never know, Marketing might have a field day with this, while giving a nod to the customer base.

At any rate, while I know that it might be a pain in the basement, the Cbid forums are a unique cross section of cigar chewing curmudgeons. And I'm proud to be a part of it.

Dude... you promised not to tell anyone my stage name.

It was a dreamy night and all, and you really were special, but, seriously, not cool.

With the demise of our secret club (you guys had to mention it to the noobs) does this mean I don't get matches for my birthday this year?
It's coming up and I now may need to make other plans.

Thanks in advance for you attention in this matter.

Its a sad thing that the CBid matches have gone the way of the dinosaur. And now, that's to a few knuckleheads, matches can't even be shipped without a hazmat suit.

No - matches DID exist at one time and a few folks still have a few boxes. They gotta have about 8 years of age on them so I'm not sure they still work. I think I had a few in the Chancellor humidor I gave to my son. Now he is the keeper of the nearly extinct cbid matches.

Sad
