I posted an honest suggestion on how to fix the issues customer service is having - put a link on the home page that takes people to a marketing page that plays the game Southest Airlines does; "every seat is first class on Southwest" - they do it because there are no first class seats on Southwest. But they make it a plus....

Anyway, I foolishly used the forbidden words, and drew a lightning bolt for my transgressions. Don't look for the post. The paragraph with the violations was stricken.

Guess I'm not so smart.....

If forbidden words result in time outs, It's not a smart idea to use them. It's even less smart to start a thread with the title including them. If you annoy a moderator or several of them, you will be walking on thin ice. If you do any of the preceding, you are pushing the limit and a time out should be expected. I never had a time out here or any other site, except for one where I had several.

It was a practical joke gone awry. We're (mostly) men... we may have grown older, but we're still amused by sophomoric humor.

If we fool some clowns into thinking they can get an 'upgraded membership', and CS gets a few more calls... it's a small hassle, but I honestly think the whole "time out" for mentioning it is just as sophomoric.

That's just my $.02, and hopefully it doesn't earn me a spot in the corner.

What you say is true. That's what my teachers used to say. If only we all could be so good.....but life would be less interesting.

Where is the line? There is no public list of currently prohibited words or phases. And the secret list seems to be getting longer and includes implied innuendo, obvious satire or even honest attempts put the issue to rest. Like land mines...you know you are in trouble when you hear the CLICK.

Maybe it's a pendulum thingy. As the Israelis say now and then, its time to mow the grass again.
