like really, thats it?

i offer that the objectification and sexualization of women that we tout in the western world (to feed our own male perversions in a male dominated society) as "empowering" is what is taught (crammed down our throats) nowadays

is that because that was always right and society had it wrong all this time?

heck ive been off the grid in some third world countries and even they seem to prefer clothes and recognize the significant differences between male and female

I'm guessing a lot of the focus has been on public restrooms in restaurants or bars or somethin... what about the local jr or senior high schools..?? are you ok with a teen aged boy showering with girls..?? it's a possibility under this law right..?? Huh

there is a vocal group trying to hijack the civil rights movement of the 60s and equate it to this new perversion and if they cant see the difference then you arent going to be able to make them

So now we have a born male transgender teenage, who is a lesbian and get excited by chicks....geeze....

The law is to prevent discrimination, not allow sexual misbehavior - nor does it. What if a gay boy gets and erection in the shower with the other boys?

Yes that's certainly how it is " being sold " when it's really about protecting " one groups feelings " ....nothing more. while ignoring another entire class or group of people with rights too

You"re right the only way to fix it is to require all bathrooms be unisex . Then men can stand in line as long as women . LOL just thought about it though I can always say i identify as someone who has to pee .

So, a couple thoughts on the topic.
... I find a certain irony that a lot of the same people who demand we have more gun laws around who can access what guns, when the act of shooting someone is already illegal... Are the same people who don't want us to have any additional laws around who can get into what bathrooms, when the act of raping or molesting or being lewd is already illegal.

An Idaho man who told police he identifies as a woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly taking photos of a woman in a Target fitting room, officials said.

Sean Patrick Smith, 43, was allegedly dressed in women’s clothing when he entered the fitting room in the women’s section of the store in Ammon on Monday, East Idaho News reported. Smith, also known as Shauna Patricia Smith, then began taking pictures of a woman in the changing stall next to him, police said.

“The woman was begging for help as she chased the man out the door,” a witness told East Idaho News. “She kept saying she wanted those pictures deleted.”

Detectives found Smith on Tuesday and charged him with one felony count of voyeurism. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail and was set to make a court appearance Wednesday.

Target announced in April that “transgender team members and guests” were welcome “to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

North Carolina has been drawing increased scrutiny for a new discriminatory law passed by the state’s Republican Congress that severely limits the rights of the LGBT community, especially after major corporations, entertainers, and politicians have called for boycotting the state. The Republican uproar began last month when the city of Charlotte passed a nondiscrimination ordinance extending new rights to the city’s LGBT community. As has often been the case with local LGBT rights ordinances, the provision that aroused the most conservative anger was one allowing transgender individuals to use public restrooms based on their gender identity rather than their biological sex. Instantly ramping up their bigotry into overdrive, North Carolina Republicans have warned of an apocalypse of sexual harassment that their delusional minds have dreamed up.

Conservatism is the ideology of fear, so it is no surprise that Republicans are resorting to such sophistic fear-mongering to justify their repression. The blatant dishonesty and hypocrisy of their position is made fully clear however, by comparing the rates of sexual assault by transgender people and Republican congressmen. While “family values” Republicans have a long history of adultery and sexual abuse there have been three cases in recent history of Republican Congressmen sexually harassing people in bathrooms alone. There are zero recorded instances of harassment by transgender people in bathrooms. John Hinson, former Mississippi Congressman, was arrested for receiving oral sex from a staffer in the House of Representatives’ bathroom in 1981. Larry Craig, senator from Idaho, was found soliciting sex from an undercover cop in an airport bathroom in 2007, as was Florida state representative Bob Allen in the same year.

You are actually correct there. Religion is one of the main drivers. We are taught nudity is bad. It is learned whether thirld world country, US or where ever. And it is learned less in some places than others. Kids will run around nekkid all the time until taught not to. They don't think much about it until taught they should. I truly beleive all or most kids are good and pure until the adults get ahold of them.

As for the subject at hand.... we don't need any more laws either way and I want to pee in my back lawn without fear of ending up on a list LOL. I used to, now I go all the way inside.

Actually he is suggesting human rights are the same. Also sexual orientation and gender orientation are completely different. I have a difficult time understanding this.
