Already got a run in. Settled in for Man Utd v Swansea. Coffee and a morning smoke coming up shortly.

Boys final preseason match tonight in Birmingham against UAB. Nice to not have a 4 hour round trip to watch them play.

Swansea put up a nice fight, but alas had to concede.

It is only a game and a half, but United looks overwhelming.

It's early. I'm just hopeful we can compete for the title, but certainly not expecting much more than top 4. It's nice to be playing United football again, though.

Man City
Chelsea
Utd
Arsenal

I think Tottenham falls off a bit this year between the move to Wembley and their lack of transfer dealings.

I can see that. Arsenal not looking great right now. Stoke's not an easy place to play, though.

I was just getting into the sport when Shawcross had that horrific challenge on Ramsey, which broke two bones in his leg.

Since that point, Arsenal has always looked most uncomfortable there.

Gonna watch some REAL football, American football, tonite!

But can't wait for the World Cup in Russia next year...hope the US qualifies to give the US something positive to unite around...it'd be great if both teams (US and Russia) can advance and get matched up in the latter rounds.

Went for a hike with the in-laws who came out to our campsite. Kid blew out his flip flop, made a repair with half of my shoelace so we could finish. 3.5 miles.

Grilled burgers, sang happy birthday, brother in law got me a bottle of scotch so cigars and scotch time.

Took puppy dogs swimming.

I'm tired. Gotta go home in the morning and back to work tomorrow night. Two work nights then heading to Georgia for Gridlife

Sounds awesome well besides the going home and back to work. When I was a child living in South Carolina my father would take me to a place called Turkey Knob in Georgia deer hunting. It was a great place to hunt back then.

Napped in hammock for a few hours once the in-laws left.

Packed up the canopy, and the hammocks. Got most everything outside packed up to leave in the morning.

Watching game of thrones with wife by campfire.

I love camping.

Wife went to bed.

Grabbed a L.P. Black label and another glass of scotch.

Hanging out with puppy dogs at the campfire.

I'm drunk.

Got bikes packed in the bed. Rolled up hammocks and put them away. Folded up the canopy. Backed truck up in line with camper hitch just gotta raise the tongue and back up 2 inches.

Roll outta here when I wake up.

Called in to work to see if there was any chance of not working tomorrow night. So long as there's not a mad rush tomorrow, might not have to go in but I'll be on call.

Well its 3am, Just sitting here feeling kind of bummed. No reason really, wife is at work doing her thang. Me I am bored out of my skull. Been cooped up in the house for quite a few days now. Cant do any wood work due to wife dont want me messing with tools unless some one is here and I really do not want to lose any fingers. (I like scratching when I need to) Hell if I could drive I would at least head out to a 24 hour food joint or something but cant do that. Gets old just talking to the dog lol. I did get in my postal scale today and got it all hooked up to the pc. No more having to ask the wife to take me to the post office or UPS. Now I can just weigh the stuff and ship out from the house, print my own labels with tracking numbers and every thing and it does not cost me no more than if I went to the post office.Well other than the 9 bucks for a crap load of blank labels which I could just use regular paper but mehh. Just waiting on the free small freight boxes to show up and the free stickers that say "cremated remains inside". Now I am all set up to do trades proper and can pack and ship right then. Cuts out having to wait a day or 3 to get to the post office so I thought that was cool. I think I will pick a cigar out and head to the garage and put it to rest then turn it over to the early morning shift. You ladies and gents have you a good one. Beer

Walk with Mrs Monkey. Surprisingly, it's quite hot and humid in Alabama in August. I am now in desperate need of a shower.

Ouch, that hurts reading about it. Spasms and cramps are often caused by dehydration or low potassium. Drink water, eat a banana. Morning all.

Still on the machine, Drafter? I had one delivered to my house to use for 4 weeks. Also had three home visits a week (half hour each) for two weeks by a PT...hope yours is better looking than mine...if you're gonna let someone touch you and cause you pain, that someone should be pleasant to look at...
