My wife says I'm a hoarder.

I just don't get rid of stuff I could potentially have a use for in the future.

Every damn time I purge I have to buy something I threw out within a few months time.

If I ever move, it's not gonna be easy.

You sure she just didn't call you a whore?

I totally need to purge some junk out of my basement too.

5s sucks......my company went on a 5s kick a couple of years ago and tossed all kinds of fixturing for jobs we haven't done in years..........now 2 years later we're getting all kinds of contract packs for quotes for all these jobs we have no fixturing for.
I tried to tell them they were gonna need these fixtures, but they cleaned them all out anywayNot talking

Lmao I bet that would be fun to drive. I would also hope that the seat has hydraulics. I bet the suspension on that thing would shorten your spine in a one mile ride.

There is the slightest whiff of shenanigans about this thread, but I am too lazy to care. Sides, Ram approved it already so done deal.

I got a roll off dumpster for the purpose of removing accumulated junk, busted concrete, old filing cabinets, my rusted out grill....well. All I can say is it gets very addicting, tossing all the crap you are tired of carrying around in life into a big metal can that goes BOOOOONG when things land.....and you know you will never see the stuff again. Never move them again, trip over them, dust them.....
My fiancée started having to rescue things from the dumpster.
I was on a firey eyed mission to strip this place bare. When I mentioned the shoe collection in the attic, she threatened to leave me.

I am calm now.

Things are fine..

I won't touch her 300 pairs of taking up space that could be actually used.........

I won't.......

Wait, wait, wait, wait...................... Fiance'?

When TF did THAT happen?

I thought you were working 70 hours a week. You don't have time to marry someone.

Plus, you've already thrown out half your stuff. You'll be down to 1/4 if you get divorced.

Snap out of it, Man! Talk to me!

I was a little disappointed - only about 55% of where I was pre-surgery, but I guess that's to be expected. Still, almost a 3 mile run and almost 2 walking as a warm up and cool down is good enough.

You'll be back on your tail in no time.

5 miles on the bike and 3,700 steps. Not bad I guess.

We are finally going to to get info some Lean stuff. We are so stupidly uncoordinated. One of the leaders in the office; considered a "relationship" leader hesitates to put me on problems, because she fears I'll...

Put a strategy together, then a structure, followed by a process. Things would end up too predictable. d'oh!

I know, right???

I am divesting. This is to make room for the inevitable crap we will accumulate. I CANNOT HOARD CRAP. It kills my soul.

I am engaged. Ironically, I proposed over cigars. She likes the wee lil flavored ones. Yeah, can't really tell you why, it Felt right, and keeps feeling righter. Obviously I hate freedom. But, there is a prenup in the works so if we divorce, she can have the stuff. I keep my coin. She keeps hers. Plus, I got a rare lady: it isn't an issue if I travel across the country, and party my ass off with friends without her. Which I did last weekend. Returned to a warm bed and heart.

I am working insane hours. But it is really beginning to pay off, my little company is growing steadily, and it won't be too much longer and I will have free time to actually enjoy life a bit. We shall see.

And finally. I cut the grass. Hard and fast rule. No lecture stress. Shame on you

Is this what happened to you? Poor MACS prostate.....d'oh!
A- she can cook. Well and often.
B- The ol prostate checks out fine. It gets plenty of exercise. At least until we say I DO. Then all bets are off.

Morning all,

Dreading the piss out of today, I have a Dr's appointment with the Neurologist. Every time I have to go see this guy I feel like it is one of those places that are made to just take your money and send you home. No treatment from this guy from day one of my stroke, No physical therapy, no resources on where to go or who to see on how to deal with memory issues, blindness, spatial awareness, perception of time issues, nothing. In a year I have still yet to figure out why I have to go in. Each visit its " Well you have had a stroke, nothing can be done, pay me money, come back in 3 months.

The only thing I can figure out is he is just for medical documentation of whats happened. To boot each time I visit he has to fill out paper work for the long term disability company and all that crap and I have to pay an extra 20 bucks to his office each time for that. It is not going to be a good day.

Another day in the life of Dumb Asses Cursing

I guess this is where the wife's saying of "Put on your big girl panties and suck it up buttercup" comes in to play. horse

Ram has a bat!

Knocked off work a bit early (it's a ghost town anyway with the impending 3 day weekend).

Enjoying a habano and some iced coffee on the deck, Miles Davis playing in the background. Beautiful afternoon.

3 mile run in (still bouncing back to my disappointment), international break for soccer so I'm watching Game Day. Miami v Florida St at 2:30 my time. Always the biggest game of my year - at least since the U stopped being a national championship contender.

Well... the fishing has slowed down considerably. They were getting the tuna down in Mexico, past where I usually go, so further south, and west. We fished US waters for nada... left it early, and went to my friend's house to BBQ, drink a beer or three, and smoke cigars.
