Pretty good amount of rain, but very fortunate that the winds haven't been awful. Worst thing for me is the cable and internet being out. Very minor inconvenience compared to the folks on the coast.

I'm listening to my iTunes library... looking at which songs get played the most.

191 - I Get Off Halestorm
162 - I Miss the Misery Halestorm
134 - Hot Cherie Hardline
118 - Die Hard the Hunter Def Leppard
112 - Mirror, Mirror Def Leppard
112 - If you want Blood AC/DC
107 - Scar Tissue Red Hot Chili Peppers
106 - Yellow Ledbetter Pearl Jam
105 - Not Afraid Eminem
101 - Champion Chipmunk
101 - Black Pearl Jam

I guess those are the ones that, when they come on, I listen to the whole song. I only have 1260 songs in my library, but I've never gotten around to loading all my CD's...

Well it is now 02:30 here in Memphis TN so,

Happy Monday and good morning.

3 weeks until Halloween
6 weeks until Thanksgiving
11 weeks until Christmas

Keep your eyes open, Ewok went on a guided pumpkin hunt over the weekend and he speared a nice one! No bump stocks or any other modifications was used on the spear in taking down the pumpkin so it was a fair and honorable hunt. Think

Ahh a more hands on confrontation very nice indeed and a quick kill to boot. I am more of a long range kind of animal. I like to go stealth but stay at range. Catch them when they are with their little ones and feeling safe. That way I can take my time and pick out the largest of the patch. Then when I am set up for the kill, I throw my spear with deadly accuracy. I find that if I go for the temple area of the melon, it is an instant drop. Also with the spear through the melon it gives me a way to carry the carcass with ease. Lastly in going long range it does not spook the rest of the pumpkins due to the only sound is the swoosh of the air as my spear flies to the target and a small thud sound. That way I can take multiples if I am feeling murderous and feel up to a massacre that day.

If I kill the whole patch my wife likes for me to kill the little ones as well. She likes to take the little carcasses and decorate our house with them. I keep telling her we should leave them so they can grow big and strong so we can kill them later but I think she is part viking so she is a little more less caring than I am. I will have to admit though the little dead bodies look cute on our dinner table. Anxious

Not that you can read this...but...I also really enjoy Air1...except the week or two that all they do is push for people to donate to them. Good stuff.

Happy New Week, ya'll. Finally going to have my first cigar this weekend since all the hoopla went down with my blood pressure.

Hope everyone has a good week!

So.... for everyone's amusement.

Was up at my dad's place over the weekend to check in on him and to help clean stuff out. He's accumulated junk from my grandmother's home, my great aunt's home and my mother had large amounts of stuff. I'm trying to dump a few boxes off at goodwill every trip.

One of the things I do usually is grab a couple decorative candles. The woman likes to burn candles. My mother had some weird obsession with putting decorative candles around the house and never burning them... so I either take them home every now and then, and let the woman burn them... or the woman will buy candles here in SF, and then I'll have to throw all the ones in seattle out at a later date.

So... I'm going through TSA with a couple candles in the bag... as well as a few rings/necklaces etc that the woman wanted to look at, wanted to wear a borrowed piece of jewelry for the wedding...
I knew the candle would trigger the x-ray... too dense. No biggie, done it before, they do a wipe down of the stuff and check for explosives.

..... one of the candles tested positive for explosives.

.... goddammit.

On the up-side I definitely got my nuts fondled a lot....

amusingly, I had intended to bring a canister of ashes with me to spread on an upcoming trip, but had forgotten. Probably for the best as the guy was intent on opening every box in my bag. I can see it now... like a bad comedy ... ashes spilling everywhere.... me getting strip searched.... Probably a good thing I had forgotten.

I love to travel, but damn it has become a hassle.

It's amusing to think of the terrorists having to endure the same BS every time they travel, though... rotten bassards.

Try going through airport security with a manikin head, 23 gold cup electrical leads 3ft long, an electrical stim box, a laptop ,collodion glue, electrode gel and a bottle of acetone. All stuffed in a black tactical duffel bag. I promise your nuts will get fondled so much they will get blisters. Especially when you THINK they have a sense of humor and they open the bag to see the Manikin head and you say "Oh that's BOB, He was my best friend until he pissed me off"

I ended up having to reschedule my board exam due to that fiasco which at the time was $700 bucks and no refund.

So much for sleeping, Today marks the end of one more year and the start of a new. 47 years today I have been I have been taking up space on this rock. If I have done my math right that means my heart has beat a very rough estimate of 1,976,256,000 times minus a rough estimate of 38,400 beats for the time it was stopped for the 8 hours I was on the operating table leaving a rough estimate and a Grand Total of 1,976,217,600 yep that is........ {One Billion, Nine hundred seventy six million, two hundred seventeen thousand six hundred times} plus or minus a few.

That also means that if a heart pumps an average of 2,000 gallons of blood through 60,000 miles of blood vessels each day. 47 years x 365 x 60000 comes to a total of 1,029,300,000 miles which means my heart could have pumped 2,000 gallons of blood to the moon and back 2,154.2 times. Not sure how many more miles I will get out of her but lets hope its quite a few! horse
