Well, the GOAT celebration just happens to fall at this time of year, not related to the Superbowl.

I guess I could have called this thread...

Wombat's Annual Celebration of 500 GOATS... Ya, that probably would rolled off the tongue a little better.

Hey now. I'm not so out of the loop as to think the Seattle baseball team was in the super bowl.

I just know flying on superbowl Sunday is generally more pleasant. No security lines.

What an absolutely riveting and exciting game of football.

Liverpool v Spurs.

If many games were like this one, it would turn some significant heads in favor of the sport.

Wow, great match! Spurs dig out a draw with the last kick.

Also, took new dog to the park to begin acclimating him. We have some work to do, but he’s quite bright. I suspect he’ll pick up leash manners quickly. It may be a little while before he can run with me, though.

Now, lazy rest of the day. Got to go the store, then relax and pretend I care at all about NFL.

What is the name and breed of your puppy?

Same story here. Having a couple cigars at the club, with a decent spread of snacks. Will generally be facing the tv when the throwball championship game is on.

His name is Mosley. Mrs. Monkey named him after the former Alabama defender CJ Mosley (not sure of spelling or position). A high school friend of my SIL runs a rescue back in TN and we got him from her. Appears to be half Great Dane, half black Lab. Approximately 2 years old. Seems quite laid back and sweet, but needs some manners when around others and other dogs.

Enjoy the show, Ron.

true dat.
I don't really deny myself when it comes to good bottles, but I do reach for the bourbon far more often.
might start sipping Baker's 107 after halftime...might not if I end up watching up the street.

Nice. I've dropped from 202 to 194 in the last 6 weeks. 12 hour night shifts and lots of walking around.

Ive been swimming 2miles like 4 times a week...
No idea why I can't drop weight.

If your scotch budget gets topped at 80$ you're missing out on some really tasty scotches. Even getting into the 150$ range opens up some really nice stuff.

I have changed 2 things, following a diabetic diet, and I walk about 4 miles a day at work. My lose has came over 6 months. I will be very happy if over the next 6 months I can get down to 220 or less. I think that would be a good weight for 6'5" no matter what the BMI shows.

lots of scotches are wasted on this bourbon guy...can't stand to even sniff any heavy peated styles at all.

Oh, I've had some of the good stuff. I ain't askeered to open the wallet a bit to indulge myself.

Unlike Frankie... I prefer scotch to bourbon. Not a fan of bourbon at all. Although I must be in the mood for the peaty variety. I prefer the speysides.

Safari Park was neat.

Dunno if I'd do it again though.

Gonna try to find parking in Ocean Beach and get to Hodads for dinner.
