Been a HUGE fan of Taj Mahal for well over 40 years . . . So much so, that if my daughter, born in 1985, had been a boy, I was going to name him TAJ !

TRUE STORY !

Got released from work.

Roads still suck. Took a while to get home. Couldn't get all the way in my driveway because the plow pile was about 3ft tall.

Driveway shoveled, moved truck into drive. Now for shower, beer, n bed

love the guy.
saw him in a small venue, like 40 hippies, circa 1972 Syracuse, NY
He was like a professor, but mesmorizing.

Love the tubas when he goes full band. Acted in and may have done the score for "Sounder" decades ago.

Think he's based out of Springfield, MA

Piss on da breakfast, come clean my yard! I can make my own toast well, as long as I don't forget to cut off the stove again.

I thought I had her beat when she would tell them that and I would start yelling "I put my Paints on" over and over, but nope she's solid as an oak.

Sad thing is

One, I wont quit till I win,
Two, She's starting to find people as amusing as I do at their reaction.

I worry for her mental stability. Then again she has had brain surgery so meh, either way it's fun.

Off to work again... 2 months on this team, and in this facility, and off I go again to another team and another facility. Tonight is my last night in Banning.

My schedule will remain (mostly) the same. I'll be on nights for another 3 months, but working 5-5. My probationary period is 6 months, and I think after a year I will request to either transfer back to the facility close to home or try to find someone who wants to swap.

Saw him in a "one man show" many years ago at a small venue on South Street in Philly called Ripley's Music Hall.
Absolutely amazing performer! Played like 20 different instruments, all flawlessly.
He has a doctorate in "Early American Folk Music", or something like that, as well.
Truly, a treasure to the music world.
