Morning, ya'll.

Finally got to the range this weekend to shoot my gun. Good times. I owned it for 5 months and just now shot it for the first time. I need to find a way to steady my aim. I am one shaky dude. The gun, Ruger Security 9, shot great. Had fun tearing it apart and cleaning it too.

Went down to firewood lady's house. No firewood. She usually has about 10 racks of half face cord size, and they were all empty.

Guy down the street only sells full and face cord. Looks like I gotta buy a whole lotta wood at the end of the season.

our current house has gas only fireplace, so we left a stack of firewood at the old house...haven't lit it in the two years we've been here...but I have used the gas fire pit in the backyard patio...

Well, I'm competent. Sorta.

Got yelled at by one woman on her high horse that I wasn't following directions. I didn't read them, I just setup the machine and it worked fine, but I didn't read the directions first so I had to do it over again, and read the directions out loud. I argued that when you've done something thousands of times over, reading the setup instructions isn't typically part of the routine anymore. Was informed that I am wrong, and the setup instructions that were printed and laminated in 2013 could change at any time and must be read before you setup the machine.

Waste of a day. At least it was overtime.

Gave it serious consideration. But I really wanted the day to just be over so I did as I was told and followed the directions verbatim, which resulted in an additional 40 minutes of overtime pay for me and the 3 others in my group.
