Well, I think I am going to call it an early night. Just got the old belly full on Blue's Jambalaya recipe. The only thing that was missing was the huge wrought iron pot. Amazing how much of a difference in taste that makes. You just can't beat old school cookin. Now if I can talk the wife into pulling out that bread pudding recipe with bourbon sauce to glaze I will be in hog heaven!

I do appreciate the conversation and good thoughts fellers. It never fails you guys perk me up and give me a woody also lol.

Sleep aides are hit or miss for me, mostly miss. Never tried that one though.

Any time one works and puts me down, I wake up feeling all foggy and hungover though. Not sure if it's any better than just being awake for days on end.

Set 4 traps out back with some of the bodies.

Put up 2 trailcams.

Just went outside with a revolver and shot 4 caged raccoons. Shot at two others on foot, but no hits.

Reset traps. I'll head back out in another hour.

Lying in bed this morning, reading a book before catching some sleep... heard my cat meowing upstairs... then I heard another meow from downstairs. Ruh-roh, Raggy.

Stray in the house. Wife said she heard them fighting just before she woke up at 4am.

I go downstairs and see the offender, but he's staying on the back patio. Won't come in, or take food from my hand, but he did gobble up a handful of cat food I dropped outside the cat door.

I was trying to be nice, but when I got up this afternoon he had peed and pooped on a bathroom rug. Okay.

Sooooo... I set a trap with food and He'll get a short trip to coyote-ville tomorrow morning if he takes the bait.

Man, the wildlife around this place. Dan's trapping raccoons. Mac's trapping pu$$y. I've only had to deal with mice this year myself

Damn raccoons destroy traps if you don't get out there and kill em quickly enough.

One tore a hole through the side, another just completely mangled the trigger plate assembly. Only the first one got out though. So that's 5 raccoons in one night. New record. Only shot 3 in a night before.
