Went to the dump, had to back down the driveway a few time before I made it to the top. Spent an hour or so after I got back fixing the driveway. Should stiffin up a bit tonite when the temperate drops into the freezing zone. Can't walk on any unpaved surface without sinking a bit into the ground a bit. No precipitation thru next weekend here, so things should start drying up, refreezing and drying up again.

Bass fishing was great... All 3 of us caught, and I got myself a rare "one last cast" fish...

Had a hankering for something sweet so I made a bundt cake with cream cheese icing and strawberry syrup... My wife mocked the whole thing as a "white person cake"... Not talking

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

Dunno what all that has to do with your leaky corroded seat but ok.

It's a metaphor. Drafter is trying hard to be the shepherd of dropped and lost washers but the poison is corroding his seat.

Should've called off tonight, but woke up too late to call off.

Can't call off tomorrow either, since it's the day before vacation.

Back to work

Beautiful day... Wife went to her parents with the kids, so I Sat on the back patio in a pair of board shorts, stuffed myself with potatoes O'Brien and sausage, washed it down with a glass bottle of Rosa Brothers chocolate milk, and then killed a thick slice of bundt cake covered in strawberry sauce...

After that, brought a couple thick blankets outside, fashioned a little bed,and then passed out for 3 hours...

Now I'm awake, cut a thin slice of bundt cake, back to laying on the patio... Probably gonna smoke a cigar down here...

Happy Monday gents. Rub some dirt on it danm.

Spey, that is not a bad way to "make do".

Get to pick it up today and take the wifey for a ride. Been wanting one of these since I was in school and driving a VW bug. In my view this car is the most beautiful design ever produced by an American car company and rivals the Jag XKE as the best ever.

DED, that is a beautiful car. The 68 was my high school daily driver. Ran with a group that all had muscle cars as daily drivers, we all kept them and eventually did frame off restorations. The rest of the group had a 1970 superbird, a 1970 boss 302, and a 1971 Shelby gt500.

And besides, I congratulated DED on his new car... Not talking
