I wish I was in the country Columbia instead of this tiny crappy Midwestern southern town.

Cancelled my trip. Not going to fly 8hrs back and forth for 1 day.

Now I have to cancel everything else and rebook for another weekend.

I never should have f-king left SF.

Morning peoples. I'm back to that same ol' place, sweet home Chicago.

Not as warm or scenic as the last place. I don't think I'm happy about this

Every time I've landed back home in Chicago, I've asked myself why do I live here?

I don't get a box truck for the ATL trip. But I do get a nearly new trailer to tow, so hopefully it goes better than last year. Last year had three tires blow, and the last one took out the trailer brake wiring, so I had 8k lbs behind me without brakes.

Hoping for an uneventful 1500 mile tow.

Basically wasted a bunch of my time... I don't know how anyone lives this far from a real airport.

I forgot how much I hated trying to get in and out of the midwest.

So.... probably for the best my flight to Seattle was cancelled. The woman had taken her dog into the vet yesterday for grooming and teeth extraction (he's 16)... they kept him overnight because his kidney function is getting pretty poor.... well today when she took him home he started bleeding everywhere from the mouth... so we spent another couple hours in the vet... and he's very much not thrilled.

I spent the rest of the day working from home.

Dogs in our household get long lives and all the modern medical treatment the woman can afford.... (and honestly... we haven't run into a treatment she isn't willing to pay for yet. One dog got chemo for months....)

I hear you. My wife decided the best move for a recent greyhound with bone cancer was to have a leg amputated. It was only $1200.

Two days later, after the complication, the bill was $2,800.

Seven days later, he was put down. Fan-flipping tactic.

Not quite Saturday in my neck of the woods but being semi-retired, it’s sometimes hard to remember what day it is.

It's been a helluva time at work the past few days.

Got two to go. Was stoked on the overtime check, but since I'm not working next week, and only one day the following, the paid hours end up equalling a normal paycheck of 88 paid hours.

I live 5-10 minutes, (depending on traffic on I-95), from Philly International, and yet I don't fly. Go figure.

Yeah, I know . . . Nobody gives a schitt.
I'm just trying to move the post count closer to 500 ! d'oh!

I got 4 pork shoulders on the smoker, but I still have 2 tuna to clean before I can relax for a bit. They've been sitting in the cooler on ice because I got home at 8:30pm and didn't want to do it.

Good mornin to all my fellow monkeys, semi-retarded ones as well...

Don’t have a contact on my house yet, so rented a car and drove all night for some time on the coast for a last hurrah.
Buzzin offa trucker coffee and just finished a good morning smoke on da beach
_____

I plan to live as far away from a real airport as possible.
Don’t know how some of you live so close to all those miscreants...
