Lol it changed buck to Bucky.

We’ll just agree to disagree. I don’t care what you find the distinction between political or politician to be. It’s not really relevant. Let’s stick figure it. You find Fauci bad. I do not.

And I don’t know if he enjoyes his fame or not. More likely this is his thing and he geeked out. He’s among the best in the world at what he does. That does not make him perfect.

He is a little known career civil servant but a well known medical expert that was vilified by not going along with trumps lies. He has no power to decide or take action but gets blamed as if he does by those that can’t blame trump for anything. The Bucky never stopped with trump. It was always someone else.

I get it. You drank the tang and blame him. Can’t help you there. Someone on another thread wished him killed today. The dude is a nice mild mannered man that has been vilified in what I call the Lance Armstrong defense.

Fauci knows his ****. I don’t expect you to believe that. But he didn’t stay in that position by happenstance, doesn’t need the coin or aggravation and has a sense of duty even if it means wear the ring the ugly **** thrown at him by trump that apparently worked with some.

For someone who keeps saying that this whole thing shouldn't be made political, you never pass up an opportunity to do just that - blame the past administration especially Trump for all that ails the world.

If Fauci has no power to decide or take action then what the f^ck is he doing there? You paint him as this super intelligent king of his realm but he has no authority to do anything? That tells me he’s nothing more than just a puppet. Why has he lasted multiple administrations? Well, puppeteers like a well broken in puppets. You say he’s doing it because he has a deep sense of duty. Do you really believe that? He’s such an honorable man, he should get an Eagle Scout award for being so loyal to the cause and stuff.

I don’t necessarily like or dislike the dude. I don’t know much about him nor even knew he existed until they paraded him out in front of the cameras to tell us what to do and not to do. I just thought it was humorous (unbelievable actually) that folks are brainwashed to think that he’s a doctor and not a politician. He’s a politician unless we use your definition what a politician is. That makes me wonder: What Kool-Aid are you drinking?

Bucky he is in an advisory role fir the most part. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t make decisions internally but the decisions made that pizz people like those in here off were not made by him. He may have advised it but so did others and ultimately decision makers decide not him.

As for politics, they never should have come in to play but they did. What Trump did to fauci is sick and worked with his followers. That is unfortunate but I won’t ignore it because it is political. It happened and is still happening. Folks that gave no idea what fauci does or doesn’t do hate him. Why? Maybe he was made to be a scapegoat by a dishonorable man.

I’m not sure, we could probably find out, but my guess is he has far more prestigious awards than Eagle Scout from all over the world.

As I said I don’t hold him pure. I’m sure he has his faults like all others. I’m just saying the disdain and hate is misplaced and pretty easy to determine where it came from. And maybe you don’t hate it even dislike him. I don’t know or care but many in here do. Just yesterday someone flippantly hoped him killed in a non political thread.

That’s why I hate that politics was ever attached to this and someone world wide considered among the best if not the best was smeared as a scape goat because the pandemic is unpleasant, the response to it is unpleasant and a politician that has produced nothing but is a good marketer picked a focal point to off load displeasure from himself.

And it worked.

"Gotta follow the science...gotta follow the science...gotta follow the science"...until it doesn't support what they want to do!

"The end is near. The Democrats’ COVID lockdown era is entering its final stages. This power grab they took for a spin is being recalled—and they know it. The notion that you can still spread the virus even after being vaccinated was the first sign that these people have no idea what they’re doing. That’s not how vaccines work. You don’t need to be a medical doctor to know that. Even after contract COVID, the virus is dead after ten days, but it’s at levels that cannot make you or others sick. Hence, why you can start slowly resuming your normal routine, albeit slowly if you’re up for it. the point is you can venture outside at this point post-infection. How it different from something that’s created via reversed genetics in order to give human beings immunity? It was just as stupid as double masking for which there is no real data to show that it works. And to the CDC’s credit, they did note that the study supposedly showing effectiveness was done with mannequins and has zero real-world applicability. "

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2021/03/02/ny-post-heres-the-real-reason-why-biden-continues-to-peddle-doom-and-gloom-on-c-n2585529?

The entire article is on point unless you still want to believe Fauci and wear 2 or 3 masks....only the 2 shot vaccine is viable...masks don't work...masks do work...I don't lie...Sorry, but I lied so we could have PPE for the 1st responders.

Yeah.

Wash your hands...ya filthy animals.

My docs office says the only one they have is the suppository version and you need to come to their office to get it daily for two weeks. I said ok because safety is my friend.

Weird thing is they just moved their offices to a tent behind the movie theater. Must be so they can keep folks separated better.

I start tomorrow!

Mine had it as well and I was on the waiting list. Then the PA Dept of Health pulled the vaccine from all primary care offices so I was told to search elsewhere. So it was a surprise to get the call. I am in the process of building my new house in Florida so I really wanted the shot so I could go down and take care of business.

Fauci was wrong about masks, until he was right.

Fauci contradicted Trump when Trump said the vaccine would be here by years end.

Fauci has been wrong as often as he's been right.

If he only had the model.

DELTA: Oh, wicked, bad, naughty, evil model! Oh, she is a naughty model, and she must pay the penalty -- and here in Castle Anthrax, we have but one punishment for developing a bad model. You must tie her down on a bed and spank her!

CBIDers: A spanking! A spanking!

DELTA: You must spank her well. And after you have spanked her, you may deal with her as you like. And then, spank me.

VARIOUS CBIDers: And spank me.
And me.
And me.

DELTA: Yes, yes, you must give us all a good spanking!

CBIDers: A spanking! A spanking!

DELTA: And after the spanking, the oral sex.

CBIDers: Oral sex! Oral sex!

I actually tried to engage again with my edit despite my statement that I wouldn’t. I’ve said why I disagree. Not recognizing that isn’t my problem.

I asked how the doctor was wrong. Not whether you disagree.
He gave numbers and specifics. You said your models predicted it all and he's wrong. That's not an answer.

In my business if a person does something that I feel is wrong, I can tell them why. I don't say "because this is how I do it and I know better".
I could, but that would be a douche thing to do.

And that is where we are now.
You're move, Summers Eve.

It really depends on how fast we can get people vaccinated. Now that J&J is in use I am very optimistic. Plus it sounds like boosters are getting up to speed very fast. Also it looks like flu shots will soon be Mrna. Lots of good stuff happening Maynard.

seems the percentage of people willing to get vaccinated has gone up slightly since the roll out...prolly due to so few serious side effects, that most people who were on the fence were convinced they are safe...

sadly, still enough anti-vaxxers that achieving herd immunity might be difficult

I hope your taint was vaccinated.

That was the first thought that popped into my head. Not proud of it... but, there it is.

My second thought was "All those years he spent in the Navy... I'm sure his taint can handle a prick or two."

Made myself laugh so, I'm kinda proud of that one.

My third thought was... "Herd immunity? Welp, that's the cows taken care of. When will they get to the people?"

I blame that thought on my son. He got me to watch Archer while we're both recovering from Covid.

The discovery of the double mutant strain was announced a few days ago. But they've announced on the news already that the vaccinations will protect you against it. And they know this how?
