DOUBLE SHOT TUESDAY 🍹🍹. .. FOR NATIONAL COFFEE DAY ☕☕ make them ice-coffee's this afternoon.

Full 😎/80 the not notable/ lite breeze... perfect layabout day for sure.

It's still a struggle get outside.

Anyone got experiences with a hoveround on a three-wheel scooter, thinking of getting one.

Off to the eye doctor. I’m sure a new Rx is in the very near future. Getting old sucks.

Wife brought home a 12 pack of spotted cow for me.

Been about 3 years since I've been to WI and had it.

It's in the fridge getting ready for my belly.

New Glarus is good stuff. I've still got a couple from the sampler I made myself back in June.

Hour and a half dog walk. I'm tired... he's not.

Trying to think of what I want to cook today. Ain't fired up the smoker in a while. Poor man's brisket? Chikens?

Something to think about... Think

HHD Ram n dudes

Back to work tonight. 2 more coworkers left to do travel contracts on my week off. I'm getting closer and closer to just doing it. Most nights we have 4 nurses on, we should have 6-7, and an aide. Sure they're offering money to come in but who wants to work overtime when every day is in crisis mode.

I just talked to one of the nurses who went to ucsd. She makes it sound like a lot less work than what I'm doing here, for triple the pay.

California, we know how to party. UCSD is a fantastic hospital, university, and medical school.

We call it a "chamber of commerce day" when the weather is like today's.
Sunny with very few light clouds, 88F, 44%RH and a slight breeze. Down into the 60F's tonight time. I have stayed inside as much as possible for the last four months and very much look forward to the next eight!

Yes... UCSD is right by the VA hospital in La Jolla. Excellent hospital... as is the VA hospital. VA gets a bad rap, but that's a damn good one.

Got a rotisserie chikens from Costco... also got 2 nice chunks of chuck roast. Gonna smoke one of them. Vacuum sealed the other for the wife to cook something with. Maybe Adobo or Caldareta.

Fried some pork chops to go with the red beans and rice I made a couple days ago. Sliced tomatoes made it a real treat.

Edit: I wonder if the dried Camellia red beans I use are now GMO. I’ve noticed that in the past few years I don’t fart anymore than normal even after eating a plateful. Before, I could blow Beethoven’s 5th after a meal.

Good Thursday Morning! It's 67° on the way to 90° and off to the range for the third day in a row.

Thought I had a broken scope, even got an RMA, but after trying three other scopes it's the rifle, d'oh! son of ... got a match next month. I had to break out my old Ruger 1022 in place of the bolt gun since it will not be back in time. The 1022 has an aftermarket barrel and is very accurate, but was set up for speed shooting steel plates at close range and the upcoming match is .22 LR at 50, 100 and, 200 yards. At least I am getting more trigger time.

Good luck on your competition. My brother has been hitting the range hard, and modding his guns. He's talked about wanting to do competitions... told him... those fogs will kick your azz bro, lol.

Sometimes, lol, you never know. I was at an indoor range a well dressed 30'ish aged woman came in to shoot in the lane next to mine. Next thing I knew her .45 1911 was raining empties into my lane and she had a nice ragged hole in the middle of one of those brown cardboard silhouette sarges.

Do encourage him to compete, nothing will boot you skills like competition. Also most competitors are good about encouraging and helping new shooters.

^ Because we are not discussing my two new favorite teas. I love coffee, but a cup of tea in the evening is quite nice.

I've settled on two, HJT Jasmine Black Tea, (most jasmine teas are green or Oolong) and Ahmad Tea Mango Magic Black Tea, really enjoyable.

Sipping tea

Dentist this morning, a stop for groceries and gas - Only because it was ,04 cheaper than early this week. Lunch then a trip to the dump followed by some yard work and a cigar. Wife got a free shingles vax, but I didn't as they wanted a co-pay from me (we have the same insurance ???).
