😳

I had a bout about 10 years ago, but it’s flared up again this week. Tried a chiropractor last time and it didn’t take. Did back stretching exercises last time and kept them up for a couple years, but then stopped. Guess I need to start them again and keep doing em. Brick wall

Getting in and out of my truck is the worst part!Argh!

Good luck Buck and Drafter.

59/39 here - snow mostly melted. I'll be out working till dark cleaning up the debris field in back from last weekend's storm.

Grabbed a Sony receiver with bluetooth from the store today. Hooked it up in the garage with my Bose 601 speakers.

Holy buffalo balls, Batman! That sounds absolutely awesome. At the moment it is on the workbench top, but I'll be putting up a shelf to get it off the bench top.

Which one didja get?

I bought the basic one earlier this year, the STR-DH190 (...probably discontinued by now...). Originally just wanted something to tide me over until I found a more audiophile level integrated amp but after cranking it up a couple of times, decided it was fine and I didn't need to spend a couple K to satisfy my ego.

Plus, at some point in time, neither of our kids appreciate floor standing speakers so no point in saddling them with expen$ive stereo equipment that they will probably never use.

^That's the same one I got, STR-DH190. Website said 2 left... when I got to the store there was one left.

I have SiriusXM and iTunes on my phone so it's got all the music I'll ever need.

Yes, although not recently. A true pain in the leg.
Almost enjoy the numbness feeling verses the sharp, stabbing, hot pain.

A Bloody Mary in the morning and a bourbon in the afternoon should be the ticket.
Not a doctor, but I did watch a veterinarian do stuff with animals on the farm, so off to the booze cabinet with you.

Just got back from my 3rd interview for the IT position at a company that has contracts with some local area schools and municipalities (town halls, police, fire, EMT) for IT support. I think it went well. They said I should hear back from them by the end of next week.

I hope I get the gig, it sounds like a great opportunity.

Go get it, Bucky.

70-somethin' right now. Dog walk was a little longer today. Prime Rib is in the oven, beers are cold, stuffing ready to be made, but it seems it's gonna rain a bit.

No worries. Ain't going nowhere and friends are coming over to eat, watch football games, have a few drinks, and ring in da new year.

Yea. I felt pretty good by 8 last night. Feels good when I get outta bed, and I think “it’s gone!” Nope

Fired up the smoker and made Margs! Party short and watching football on the patio

After the required 5 miler I took the Vette out for a 20 mile romp and stirred the gears real good. Got the two playoff games being taped while I enjoy the afternoon with a cigar on the patio. Steaks and bubbly later. Expect to be snuggled in bed two hours before this year is over.

Traditionally we go for a nice long hike to start the new year but looks like rain for tomorrow .

Drug and nicotine testing at work in a week today is day 2 without dip and we got family Christmas at my house today. Nobody wanted to host. Our house is significantly smaller than everybody elses - at least by half. I got 900 sq ft butt fuggit pack em in.

Smoked a pork butt, got it reheating in the crock pot now. Toasted some buns. Shrimps, pickled herrings, olives, adult lunchables, mac n cheese, beer.

Out of the ~150 lemons we put out yesterday about 40 are left. I trimmed back some of the splintered branches and we picked about 60 more to put out today along with some plastic bags for easy carrying. Still have to trim the main branches that are about 6" thick at the trunk.

Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
Maybe it's not too late
To learn how to love
And forget how to hate
Mental wounds not healing
Life's a bitter shame
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train

New seltzer water flavor at Wally World. Cranberry Bramble from Polar Beverages (a local soda, water, bottling company).

I even opened it up and drank some before I purchased it (I'm a rebel) while getting some stuff to make a pot roast tomorrow. My shpo treats me well. I have connections. Tdub would have been stalked if he tired to do the same. He fits the profile of a shoplifter.
