We have AT&T. Meh... I haven't had any issues.

AT&T does "upgrades" all the time... for a nominal fee of course... and an increase in monthly payment... and an activation fee. Frying pan

Slogging along here today.
The days of 12 hours of non stop socializing, cigars and drinks are waning. So will my health if I don’t do better than four hours and forty five minutes of sleep after.

Go Giants. Go Bengals. Go to sleep. Zzzzzzzzz.

I'm sure I'll have activation fees, but they're more palatable when you start $330 ahead of the game

We went cross country skiing at Tahoe XC today. It was tiring and fun. We are now home, sitting by a fireplace, enjoying a wee dram of Oban 14.

Oil change on the kids' car done. It was a learning experience for him. How does a kid so smart not know how to change his oil? I'm a failure as a dad.

When dropping the hood, the latch wouldn't engage. After franking with it for a bit and working the release cable back and forth we finally got it to lock in. Prolly needs a good soaking of WD-40 or some liquid wrench on the sticky latch mechanism.

If it still doesn't work, we'll have to replace the hood latch and cable and stuff. Or we do the redneck solution.... just tape the hood down with 100 MPH tape (duct tape).

Red neck solution to many problems:

If it moves when it shouldn't move: Apply duct tape
If it doesn't move when it should move: Apply WD-40

Funny you should say that. The guy's garage where we went (good friend of mine) offered the same solution (jokingly) "we could drill a hole here and there, put some studs in and some clevis pins in."

This guy is like 70 yrs old. Master machinist, has tons of tools and stuff in his barn.

Few dump trucks, 4 tractors, has a Corvette (not sure the year) under a cover that hasn't seen the light of day in like 10 yrs. Has an old Pontiac Fiero that hasn't been driven in about 20 yrs. Couple other vehicles in various stages of rebuilding.

It's a trip when I visit him. He always has about 4 projects going on.

Damn! Wish I knew that sooner! Had hood pins for my Road Runner but never got around to installing them. Those 20 added horses might cut my time down 0.10 seconds! d'oh!

You are in North Florida. (Notice no citrus groves? You need some more global warming)

My car sure could use 20 hp. Pins didn't seem to help, but the hood opens and closes only when I want it to.

Cool! And I like the custom touches to the front.

My buddy called and wants me to go with him next week to Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, as an adviser. He bought a bidder's pass for two which includes a bunch of perks like free valet parking and shuttles, drinks, etc. We will be going next Wed so iffn' you watch on TV (MT channel I guess) I will be the one trying to keep him from bidding.

I already told him the best advice I can give him is don't buy at B-J because he can save at least 20-30% by buying direct from a private party. Pretty sure he actually knows that as he has bought and sold a few collector cars in the past. The last one he sold was a '69 Mustang GT 500 at the Russo Steel auction. Anyway it should be a fun time.

Other than their kicker, looks like the Cowgirls came to play!

But yah, I would love to see Jerry's face should they lose.

Team building event tonight with the department at a suped up go-kart type place. I wasn't able to beat the guy who works for one of our vendors. He brought his own helmet so I feel like he's done this once or twice. But I did manage to take 2nd out of a field of 27... and may have possibly put my director into the wall while doing so

Howdy dudes...

Well, Ram... it only took the league until Tommy Brady was 45 to whoop him. He's got 1 less playoff win by himself than the cowgirls do in their entire existence... they were tied with 35 until the game was over. I think he'll be ayite. fog

Now... if we could all just get on our knees and pray for a San Francisco win next week, I would be grateful. Herfing

Niners v. Cowboys. That is always a fun battle to watch. Hope the games are on during the day. Mostly retired FOG’s can’t stay up until 11 pm. fog
