In February, I resolved to go a month without buying cigars. February was my month. Then March. Then April ...

I didn't make it a month any month this year. Boo hoo!

Don't be so hard on yourselves. Someone has to keep those Torcedors employed.

Oooooh, very, very tempting! Anxious

It’s not a super, duper great deal BUT, mebbe the best we’re gonna see these days. Think

Internally this is a battle of Need vs. Want vs. FOMO. Must either say “Frank it!” and bus’ out the AMEX card or just say no, sit back and wait a bit before opening up my last box (…and then scramble to find a replacement box…).

I completely gave up. I've been buying cigars regularly. Too many good deals on top quality smokes to stand on the sidelines.
On the plus side, I've been enjoying new blends from low production runs from reputable manufacturers.

Nephew split a box of the R44s with me. It’s been nothing but Fuentes for me this month.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Love

Got back from a week in Monterey on Sat. Still Ironclad, but my resolve was severely shaken. I smoked the last of the cigars I brought on the trip on Wednesday night, since my original plan was to return the next day, Thursday. I even drove to the Cannery Row, where I knew of a decent cigar shop... I convinced myself to stay true to the Resolution...

Two and a half days without a cigar is torture...smoked two on Sat night after I got home, one after the other.

It's been about 200 days since my last purchase and I've noticed that many of my boxes are only half filled...there are voids in the trays and drawers of my end table humidor, which are usually filled to the top...but I still have enough cigars to last another 5 years or so, I think (I'm too lazy to do an accurate inventory/count).

I'm thinking of setting another resolution: stop buying long enough to empty out my satellite storage system of snap lid tupperdors, including a big 23"x18"x8" one that I keep boxes in...

I could regain some cabinet space, two wide and deep drawers, in the office if I did that.

Yes. It arrived on Friday…or was it Saturday? Think

The vendor is very reliable and I’ve bought from them several times. Off the top of my head, I’d say at least 3 boxes of R44s, mebbe 4, from them. As well as some other Fuentes, Tats and Padrons.

Stopped myself from randomly ordering cigars. I was actually hunting for something to buy. Then remembered Black Friday is coming soon. I’ll likely fail then

Full disclosure, when your resolution was new and we were picking dates you would fail, I picked Black Friday. But now, I regret being cynical.

He has in the past but this time a guy named Jake (…didn’t ask if he was from State Farm…) was my POC.

Not sure how they do it but my lowest deals on R44s (…$4.02 and $4.24…) have come from them.

The first time I dealt with them, they had WOAMs on sale for a (…relatively…) great price so I called and ordered a box. Couple days later they said they were out of stock but their shipment was due in a few days. Felt shady but they delivered and haven’t failed me since.

Plus, of course, Rick is personal friends with the owner and stuff. Herfing

I called today and he said they were out of stock and offered to offered to refund my money. Said he had an order for more but wasn’t sure when they would be available. I’m gonna wait a bit and see if they get more

Was tempted by a Black Friday special from the other place in AZ (…not Hi, not Sly…) on some Warped cigars but I just couldn’t pull the trigger. Didn’t want to break my November Fuente-only streak. Laugh

Not sure iffin’ this works for you but Scott’s place has an online, storewide coupon: HC20, that will work on R44s so price goes down to a little over $200. Of course with local taxes and all, your savings might not be as great.

Two days....:

H. Upmann Half-Coronas
Rafael Gonzalez Panatelas Extra (5 x 37)

Won't know box dates until they arrive, but two great cigars that start smoke great when young!

It’s been a Fuente-only month so far and can’t, for the life of me, imagine buying anything else the rest of the year. Yesterday’s BF purchase now has me crazy overstocked on one of my all-time favorite smokes. I think the ONLY brand that would tempt me now would be Padron but there really isn’t anything that would make me press “Submit”. I have all the milestone cigars I need plus Principes, Coronas and Exclusivos so no urge whatsoever to get more.

Of course, iffin’ CC prices went down to 2019 levels, I’d be snapping stuff up in a heartbeat. RollEyes

Tony's going to be the first to go a year.

I'm back to day 1. Again.

Couldn't pass up a Plascenia sale. Plus I bought some 5vers from the tenski place because, you know, they were on sale.

Ugh………………..good thing I have absolutely ZERO space……….otherwise I’d probably crack….

And……….I still need to make room for 35 Robs (Sobremesas and Le Caremes) and 5 ten packs of LP Coronets
I’m like uh……………an idiot…

Hi you guys🤪

My tower humi was holding far more bourbon than it was cigars over the last couple years.
but I have since over the last month or two been on a buying spree slowly filling part of it back up with various cigars that I enjoy. And some I just haven’t smoked in a while so I’m going for a revisit if you will. Hope everyone is well. 🥃

Has anybody beaten this? I realize that I didn't have internet at the time but I coulda driven down the road and ordered something, in fact that's what I ended up doing, 423 days later.

Maybe Ram can decide if that counts or not. :)

Im currently on day 6.

I 100% blame Jake and Toker for that. Lol

That’s pretty dang impressive.
But I’m quite sure it is not a record.
There are guys here with 5,000+ cigars……..going a couple years without buying isn’t a big deal to them.
