Gonna be a gray rainy weekend. On and off rain and some thunderstorms until Sunday. Mid to low 50's

Prolly be a lazy weekend. Good time to crock pot meals.

Mississippi Pot roast is on the menu tomorrow.
Have a couple racks on baby back ribs in the freezer, probably do those on Sunday

Preparation for this coming weeks lunches...
Thawing out some chicken breasts, probably do Chicken Cordon Blew.
Might also do a batch of chilli

Any left overs will be lunches for the up coming week.

Got to 83 today.
Tomorrow 89, Sunday 87.
Dew points in the upper 50s, so will certainly be tolerable.
Quite a bit behind on ☔️ rain.

Heading to the Astros game this afternoon. Might get a bobble head. Will be hanging out in a corporate suite so it’s a little more like work than play.

Afternoon, dudes... EST, anyway.

Walked the dog, got a haircut, made an appt for new truck tires, got the stuff to do my oil changes... now I'm thinking maybe a cigar and a libation.

Got the Michelin Defender LTX at Discount Tire for $1,175 out the door. Truck tires ain't cheap, man... it's like buying tires for a freakin' sports car. d'oh!

At least these have a 70k mile warranty and are very highly rated for all categories.

After the morning walk I took the '65 out for a romp and to stir the gears. She was a little rambunctious. Angel

I get new meats on the CR-V Tuesday morning. 235/60R/18 80K warranty about $989 out the door.

Ended up getting about 34K out of the OE Hankooks which isn't too bad but they were sure riding rough. In my younger years I would buy any used tire that still had even 1/16" tread and often used retreads.

Well I don't feel so bad, now. Thanks Rick! Mine are 275/65/18's and for only a couple hundy more for truck tires, that's not so bad. I got 35k out of the OE Bridgestones. Could probably do 5-10k more, and I would if I wasn't doing a road trip.

Taking the truck instead. It's only about $300 more in gas back and forth and I would rather have the extra space and comfort. More room for my fishing gear and cooler of fish. BigGrin

Oil & gas. There is a lot of that here. It could be Enron’s old suite though.

I’ll be honest. The food in Minute Maid Park is a joke compared to Oracle Park in San Francisco. I do miss SF Giants games but that chapter of our journeys is over.

Morning, peoples. I don't think they ever spring ahead nor fall back. I'd like to think it's a protest against unnecessary clock manipulation, but I doubt it.

About the system time, just call customer service, they'll get right on it... when they answer.

Same time here, except I don't see a time on posts under hour old, just "X mins ago" that's why I put my local time in post 246.

Update, 60 minted later: Ram the message I posted at 10:42 local tome now shows 9:42 on the forum, just as you pointed out.
