HOME AT LAST!!!
Wonderful girls, and all kiddos I've known for yeeeeaaarrrssss, BUT... it was definitely confirmation that I will NEVER aspire to be a middle school teacher LMAO! Borrowed Grandma and Grandpa's Camper for the trip, so the rain the first night was no issue. Nice spot right on the river at Lava, Boyo cooked us tinfoil dinners in the campfire, Boy Scout style, watched a movie in the camper while the rain came down, Triple Chocolate Meltdown ice cream birthday cake (Princess picked blue and orange candles - BSU YEAH BABY!) giggling gaggle bouncing and shrieking and giggling all night long with their "zombie murder movie" production, mama enjoyed her coffee by the fire the next morning while the gaggle slept in, BEAUTIFUL sunny day, had a late breakfast and threw everyone into the pool complex as soon as it opened, swam and sunburned all day (seriously - this is MIDDLE SCHOOL. I should be able to tell them "make sure everyone puts on sunscreen," and walk away. Had to walk back to the camper (a whole parking-lot length away wooooo.) retrieve it and bring it to them... so they could still not use it and whine because they're burned. Facepalm...) swam till 3, changed clothes, had the middle-school special for lunch (Pizza, mac & cheese, watermelon, doritos, more cake) while watching another movie and painting nails (seriously? We're camping! Facepalm #2.) no one was interested in tubing the river until we were all dry & dressed and began disconnecting the camper and packing up to load out (Facepalm #3) and got everyone home around 6 last night.
Right now, she and the boyo are playing the new Minecraft game big brudder bought her on the X-box. (it's on the laptop, her iPod, and now the Xbox. How many platforms does one game need?????) Enjoy it, Princess, because...
School starts tomorrow! YEEEHAAAAAWWW!!!
