Worthless fuqs at Mizzou are tweeting that they are on the same level with what happened in Paris and that they deserve media coverage too. Still saying KKK is on campus to cause blind panic. Only problem with that story just like everything else they've played up is its a bull**** lie.

Narcissistic racist children throwing a temper tantrum going on hunger strikes for hours at a time is not on the same level as Paris it's not even close. What happened in Paris is something to be outraged about, not their false sense of entitlement just because they are here and they think they deserve special treatment just for breathing.

Tail.... I'm saddened that you don't feel that you can learn anything from college.

When I went in I was ignorant of a lot of things. I didn't know the process by which cells generated energy, I was unfamiliar with the genetic regulation of specific proteins, I didn't know multivariable calculus nor could I speak russian.

I'm sure colleges these days still provide these services to individuals who don't go in already knowing all of this. You must have just been a very very advanced highschool student.

You're technically correct.
But a high schooler who doesn't know quantum physics can hardly be considered "ignorant" in the broadest acceptance of the term.

I was talking about being ignorant to things you should already know, which is what most people think of when they use the term.

I hear they do much better work than many that do remodeling. They also seem to be willing to learn and get a better education.

Tail, I hate to disagree with you (ok, that's a lie, I get a kick out of disagreeing with you, and if you weren't wrong so often my life would be a much duller place).... but your argument is the following:

College students enter ignorant and leave ignorant.
You choose to use a colloquial definition of ignorance, specifying things one should already know.

Are you suggesting we treat colleges like a remedial course, and expect it to teach a student something they should have already learned but haven't? That sort of defeats the concept of "higher learning" doesn't it?

If your high school kid hasn't learned basic algebra, I wouldn't tell you to send them to college. I would expect the same reaction with any other lack of knowledge or understanding you choose to label as "ignorant".

College is intended to reduce the level of ignorance of things which haven't been understood in high school. Otherwise it's just day care for 20 year old children. If you're complaining that kids aren't learning something they should already understand before entering college, then perhaps you are directing your complaints at the wrong institutions.

Seriously, vic.
You're too often like a robot. The C3PO type. Not cool like in lost in space.

Real people don't consider a simple lack of knowledge to be ignorant.
A child who doesn't know algebra isn't considered ignorant, even though you can say they are based on the pure definition.

When I say college students are ignorant, I'm talking about those who choose to pontificate about things they don't understand.
So if your high schooler doesn't know basic algebra, then they shouldn't tell us how it works.
THAT would be ignorance.

Again, it's not the definition that Noah Webster gave us. But it's one generally used in 2015 conversation.

All people have an ignorance at some level, but not all people are ignorant.
You ignoramus.

While I agree with your premises, I would go on to point out that college technically removes "ignorance" by aquatinting people with information. This is often confused with ability and competence, nether of which are direct products of information. And just because someone spends the time and money to get "educated" by no means makes them competent. Some of the least useful people I know hold advanced degrees.

Again, I feel college is overrated in our society - overpriced too.

Oh, The Robots‘ name was ”B9" (he was always a favorite of mine).

Here you go...this article was written with you and those like you in mind. Drink it in

http://www.gopusa.com/commentary/2015/11/16/americas-collegiate-shop-of-horrors/

From the article :

If you’re outraged and don’t know why, but, since your BFFs are, you are too, then this column is for you.

Trigger warning: If you’re one of those precious little snowflakes who #StandWithMizzou and support the #MillionStudentMarch, be warned: the following contains potentially “hurtful” microaggressions that may invade the reality-free sanctuary of your Safe Space™ and leave you cowering in the fetal position.

If this is you, then read at your own risk.

Tail... you've refined your definitions of your terms into uselessness.
Your complaint now is about people pontificating about things they don't understand. That literally can encompass people of any education level. The original argument (made not by you, but by TMCetc) was, and I quote:

"Because as we are seeing it [higher education] " in some cases " leads to severe Ignorance"

Your argument about people pontificating on things they aren't knowledgeable is irrelevant to higher education. As you yourself stated, a high schooler telling us how basic algebra would be ignorance in this case. As you can see, your own argument has redefined ignorance into a behavioral problem, not a knowledge problem and essentially cut "higher education" out of the equation.

Perhaps you and TMCetc need to get together and decide exactly what you're trying to argue is bad about higher education and get back to us with a more unified argument?

.... beep boop beep.

I would like to see evidence of what in the hell caused this whole debacle at Mizzou.

A Poop swastika was the reason for all this B.S.?

In the day an age of cell phones taking pictures and videos of everything..why is there no evidence of this?

This is all made up b.s. Google the "swastika" in question and the only image you come up with is one that has been out there for a year.

This is a fake issue.. the guy in question that started this whole thing has been going to this "racist" campus for 8 years now.

I said it before.
A drive-by racist slur.
And the poop swastika.

And we can eliminate the swastika because, well, it's made of poop.
We can't call the artist a racist or even an anti Semite. The only accurate description is fuggin nuts.

Think about it.
What if it was a nice drawing of a smiley face with the words "have a nice day" written underneath.
In Human Excrement!

We wouldn't call the artist "friendly", or "expressive". We'd accurately call him fuggin nuts.

He draws a puppy dog of feces? NUTS.

A Rainbow? Fuggin Nuts with the smelly hand.

Now excuse me while I refill his palette.
Full of crap
