I am not a racist. I don't care what the color of your skin is until you make an issue out of it. I stated facts regarding crime that where easily found through simple searches.
I also moved to CO because there is little to no welfare. There's little to no Section 8 housing, and in my area affordable deed-restricted Habitat Housing starts at $250K. Not to mention the smoke is a lot better. Only caveat is being surrounded by Illegal immigrants with better health coverage for free than what I can afford to pay for. But, they work their butt off, are devoted to their family and Catholic religion. The father actually sticks around and takes care of his family. (Just for you opel)
Spent most of my teens in state institutions. After living almost another 20yrs in one of the seediest areas of Pittsburgh, ducking shootings everyday, cleaning up needles off my yard and porch left from junkies getting their fix on my front stoop and having to bleach the blood off the concrete when they where done, watching a thriving German & Italian immigrant neighborhood turned to crap due to welfare, Section 8 housing, and gangs fighting over turf they don't even own but rented through Section 8, where girls would rather have another child just to get a raise in social benefits instead of finding a job, and a horrible public school system that required my kids to walk through a metal detector just to enter the school. Yes, I got tired of my entire family being discriminated against and expected something from just because we where the minority with different colored skin.
I don't do these things to others, and require the same from them.I sure as hell wasn't moving to Ferguson, Chicago, or Compton.
I decided to move on up. You can call that racism. I call it survival, and taking care of my family.
