Self promotion, and post spam at the end of the last 500, I would deny hank this 500 and give it to Speyside.

Tell that to the 499 other people that have a bunch of posts at the end of a 500 to get the next one.

And btw, really don't think this patron has alcohol in it. Boo!

Hank patron is not a poor man's drink. Methinks you are awful with finances.

So, tell me the story about needing Ram's approval of 500's. Just curious.

And the patron was a gift.

The scotch after is finally working. Is there something strong out there that doesn't taste like garbage? I tried Everclear but that was nasty. Maybe my tolerance is too high. Ugh. I need something cheap, strong and decent tasting for Friday night.

If you're drinking with the goal of getting drunk, you're doing it wrong.

Absinthe... the real stuff from places like the Czech republic where they still allow the wormwood wirh thuone might do ya in...

Enjoyed that stuff... made the dance music sound a little different. I think you can buy it and have it imported... hills may have been the brand.

Well, not in the beginning, and now not officially, (FGM was not consulted d'oh! ), but I kinda have taken it upon myself to try and give Hank some sage
(albeit unsolicited) FOG advice.
He really isn't a bad guy, and I'm glad that some of you dikkheds are easing up and giving him a break.
( And I'm NOT just saying this because he decided to make me the 1st target of the NOOB MILITIA ! Not talking )

Hang in there, Hank !

A number of us tried. That is a really the crux of the 'problem' that many have with him. Jespear just must have the patience of Job

Nah, not really. Actually, my patience has been dwindling as I get older. My family has even suggested that my new granddaughter should call me Grumpah.
On a more positive note, I do try to see the GOOD in people and give them the benefit of the doubt.
That was the case with Hank. I think his exuberance, and inexperience were misinterpreted by some as him being a mooch, and I must admit, a few of his posts had me thinking along those same lines, BUT, after having some conversations with him via PM's and e-mails, I truly believe his heart is in the right place.
As far as his, "If you don't like what I'm doing, or the way I'm doing it, you can GFY attitude", well . . . I'm pretty sure there are MANY BOTL on here that have the same attitude, (myself included) !

This whole thread looks and feels like some sort of weird Hank intervention (for wha?, I have no f-ing idea).

I think what the main problem people have with Hank is as soon as he calms down and people stop screwing with him so much, then he gets ADHD and will spam 50 f-king topics on the boards about random stupid chit.

Now, I don't have a problem with this, because it gives me troll fuel, and I think it's fun AF to troll Hank (why? I have no f-ing idea >:)

+1

Morning, everyone!

I don't know why the Patron didn't do anything for me, it was weird. Maybe it takes a really long time to kick in and when I thought the added scotch finally gave me a little buzz, maybe it was the late effects of the Patron.
