The item about the WH response to the Mueller Report being about 30-40 pp was a public statement Trump's own lawyer, Giulani, made to the media (Politico) in a tweet...
and the WH AG, Barr, said in public testimony in front of a congressional committee, that the WH has not seen the Mueller report...
the fact that so many people, at one time rational folks who demanded the truth from government, and at least the appearance of competence, are allowing the POTUS to play with the facts and make inconsistent statements if not outright lies, make outlandish claims, purposely violate laws they gave an oath to protect, encourage staff to violate the law, look the other way when members of the administration act corruptly or violate laws, and publicly propose and begin head scratching plans in his/their own words...
defend away...when we look back at this period of time in history, there'll be those who defend Trump to the end, like those who defended Nixon to the bitter end and showed up as he rode off in the helicopter in disgrace...
this is mindbogglingly unfortunate, and un-precedented...this seems even worse than Nixon's administration...I can't remember a similar period of corruption and incompetence in another administration...
there have been plenty of Trump bashing posts I've thought about, but on some days, I jdgaf...environmental issues caused by his roll-backs...the huge deficits we'll confront when his tax cuts to corporations take full effect, at the time the individual tax cuts expire...his continued assault on the ACA, which provides healthcare coverage to more that 20 million more Americans...on and on...
