I just got one in the mail addressed to Mildred, the last owner of my house who died here in 08?ish.
In MA we had to request a mail in ballot for the primaries to at least have the option. Had to be in or post marked maybe by a certain date to count.
I seem to recall a bunch of Trump style panic 4 years ago when he also created an escape clause to protest in case he lost...back then it was that people were voting all over the place and were registered more than one place...and the first person to come out in public was Spicer, followed by Kushner and Trump family members!
I I started a thread or posted in one that very few people actually did vote more than once (the two I read about back then both voted for Trump twice) but the issue was really that people re-registered when they moved but didn't notify their old town.
And a few here checked it out and realized they were registered more than once in different locations, I think dstieg found out in a minute!
Virtually all in that category did not move just to be able to vote twice as virtually all in that category didn't even know of their duplicate status...and it has zero to do with party affiliation.
Smooth, verifying your mail in is not done legally by following Trump's suggestion to vote in person too. It's not like hitting a provisionary tee shot in case you can't find your first shot...it's a Federal offense, and for good reason, not for partisan reason.
