Never hear on the news that the US is doing as good or better than many other first world countries do you? Wonder why that is.
because the five you name have numbers that are terrible compared to most of the rest of the world...
you're bragging that we have the 11th worst mortality rate among nations in the world...a couple of them above us, doing worse: Brazil, Ecuador, Belgium, Peru, Chile...
our numbers are comparable to those of the European countries that behaved similarly to our response... a rogue's gallery near the top of the heap, just below backwards poverty stricken nations
let's look at other first world countries whose governments took the virus seriously:
Netherlands - 36.84
Canada - 24.9
Germany - 11.28
Denmark - 10.92
Austria - 8.56
Norway - 4.99
Australia - 3.26
Japan - 1.15
S. Korea - 0.71
