No scores at all lately as everything has gone way up in price. I once got 4 fivers of Triple Maduros for $ 3 a piece, but that was an unbelievable deal.

The Camacho Triple Maduros?

If so, musta been around late 2013 when there were clearance sales on them. I know they were available for really, really good prices. Will check my spreadsheet later.

Edit: Best price I ever found during the clearance period was $3.65 per so $3 was AWESOME! ThumpUp

Probably a software glitch, like when I scored those LHC Oscuro Fuerte Toro fivers, for $1/ea a year ago or so.

BTW, the other place has been having website issues as well. Quite often, as in, a few times per week, they have lots up which….
- do not come up in a traditional search of all lots presently listed
- were not listed in up coming auctions

You literally have to stumble into them, or, view “All” present lots (after adjusting your brower to Show all lots on one page) and THEN use your Browser search function to search that page for specific text……….ie “querida”…

Some recent lots that exhibited this weird behavior included..

Le Careme Robusto
Papas Fritas

Heck, it may be something they are doing intentionally….

My local got some nice stuff in this week, unfortunately our Fuente rep is a 💩 so nothing AF cool. The Saka limited stuff is even more ridiculous than the regular lines though. Grabbed a few and had a chat with my buddies lady that works there.

Was thingink about snagging a few tins of the 2023 Anthology Pipe baccy, I haven’t even popped and 2022 tins though, or the Carolina Red I got.

Used to be one of my special occasion smokes but so HTF and frickin’ expen$ive now that I haven’t been able to replenish. Still got a few and got some TAA OX Sharks the last couple of years so will be smoking those instead.

Sufferin' from no purchases and hopin' the end of the year would provide some real deals, I have executed the coupon option at the "Hi" place in AZ. They still had a Father's Day sampler that includes a '64 PAM presidente among four others. That and a My Father Treasure Chest full of unknown booty. 20% coupon applied. Hoping the treasure chest deal is something decent. It does come with a satisfaction promise. We'll see.

For the first time in a long time (maybe pre covid) I was able to deploy my singles bidding strategy to get some OK cigars at an average price of $2.50 per including taxes and shipping. And that was when I was buying all kinds of junk. Now a days I only bid on about five different cigars.

It appears I may have found some CCs mispriced online. Emailed support and they confirmed the price is for the box and not a fiver. Will have to wait 1-2 months for delivery now to know tor sure when they arrive. Stay tuned!

Received my package today. Unfortunately they didn’t send the total number of cigars as the customer support rep promised when I inquired about what “tins” means, as in how many tins plural. Bummer. Working with customer support now, we’ll see if they honor their word. Some times if its too good to be true….Liar

Tatuaje Angels VI, got a few singles for $3/stick. Not sure if this was a good deal but I couldn’t get them any cheaper for a while

La Harencia Cubana Toro 10 pack for $2.8/stick. Same, not sure if it was a good deal but I liked this one in Robusto…er, Romusto…and wanted to try Toro

NUB 358 Cam $3 per. The prices on these go through the roof so I paid $15 for fiver

Camacho Ecuador Robusto, fiver for $13 seemed like a fairly decent catch

E.P. Carrillo Trilogy sampler for $21.5. Probably wasn’t a great deal but I’ve been wanting to try a cigar from this brand and now I get a nifty little box lol

I bought more than this but these are some that I was happy with.

IMO, they turn the corner after a year or so. Iffin’ you have the box, look for a small sticker on the bottom with a date. Wait 12 months after that and your patience will be rewarded. If you don’t have the box, then just wait a year. Chances are they’ll be even better!

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely need to get more to age because I just recently found out about these thanks to JGRAZ, the noob PIB, and this forum. I've only had one and 5 of these are for close cigar buddies whove never had one and the other 5 aren't gonna last long.

If I can buy really good cigars that I like at half price when compared to the usual retail sites, that's a score enough for me.

Currently on a buying binge as I went 14 months without making a single purchase from anywhere. Its the second time I did this. And at 1 cigar a day, occasionally 2, I pretty much depleted my inventory with the exception of high-end stuff that's never on sale.

$700 order incoming on Wednesday! Still have another $2000 or so to blow until I'm stocked up again.

Thanks again for the reminder. After 4 fivers for $70 I had to come up with another $50 to knock off $30.

So many promotions to dig through. Managed another fiver for $17.50 and a fiver of Surrogates Big Ten. All in all $3.40 per cigar taxed and shipped. The La Palina might be a $2 cigar. I see them on Cbid sometimes. I guess I'll find out sometime later this year.

Nothing new in the first 4 for 17.49, but did grab a cloud hopper 53 to compare to the 485 based discussion in another thread.

I had a great grab last week. I payed full price for them, but I never find these in stock anywhere, and they are an old favorite of mine. I found Padron 6000 maddies in stock. $46.81 a fiver. I bought 8 fivers.
I have been looking for these for months, and they were available for a day and a half. I guess I wasn't the only one looking for those.

Tenski puts them out there regularly………..but every freaking time I get the email, and then check?
They gone…..

Considering what other cigars are going for now, some of of the 0000 series maddies are actually a good deal these days…..

I was checking my email once when a Tenski deal email came in. I immediately clicked on it, and there were cigars listed as sold out already. So for some reason they list cigars they don't even plan to sell sometimes.

Probably to give customers FOMO. Make them pull the trigger faster instead of having time to think about it in fear something may sell out.

I’ve tried tenski for the thousands too. No dice. Ordered a box of nattys from the high place and they called and said they were out


Saved my order and I think they’re supposed to honor coupon and send box when they come in
