Investment question. Maybe I should ping Leโ€™ Hockeydad.

What us companies produce shatterproof glass?

Also thinking Loweโ€™s and Home Depot might be good stock purchases.

Iโ€™m trying to do better, Ram. Victor was correct to check me yesterday.

Both Loweโ€™s and Home Depot are near or at one year highs. Too expensive for this po boy.

I need a fishing trip. One scheduled in Bahia de Los Angeles for late August... that's 3 months away!

Need one soon. I don't even care if it's bottom fishing.

Misread that as saying "still not firing on all 2 cylinders"....

or maybe I didn't misread it.

Impromptu trip to the high Sierras with the wife yesterday afternoon... 53 up there and it got a little drizzly... Hands went numb from cleaning the fish in the lake water... Because temps got so high last week, the reservoirs up there are pure snow melt, and you can feel it...

Ended up with 6 rainbows and 1 brown... Wife caught a couple of hard fighting holdovers from last year...

Cool and dry here. Trying to finish the veggie garden today and get some of the lawn mowed. State opened phase 2 today so I now can make an appointment for a haircut. I have a dental cleaning scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

Costco trip. Got lazy and grabbed the ribs that were already seasoned and cut St Louis style. Pork up in da smoker... and I saw a couple yuge crab legs that made their way into the cart.

Lawn finally dried up enough to mow, but only had an hour and a half to do it before work. Got most of it done. Gonna have to finish tomorrow but rain in the forecast.
276. Author: SunoverbeachDate: Mon, 6/1/2020, 10:22PM EST
No more rain please. I've had enough for a while.

Hey, which hospital ate you at? Were you guys affected by any of the protesting?

I'm in Munster. Road blocks slowed getting here. The people coming from the north and west through Hammond and Lansing had a worse time getting in. Coworker called off cause her cop husband got run over by one of the rioters.

No issues coming from the south today.

Got it. Sounds like some nonsense in Merrillville. Though don't think as bad as elsewhere. People constrained themselves to shouting here.

Morning, peoples. Considering the speedo for work today. Supposed to jump to 90

Yup. Excludes from 3% raise, though despite my perfect attendance 7 of the 11 years I've been there I've only gotten 3% twice.

You should try it... Your taste literally can't get any worse...

Space Force is not exactly embarrassing -- everyone involved is too talented -- but it is shockingly unfunny for a show made by people who are so talented.

So strange and ill-conceived and ill-timed that not even Carell's avuncular bonhomie can save it. For all its cinematic trappings, Space Force is a series with a single joke running through it, and that joke is American idiocy.

But there is a lack of vision in the show they devised, as it veers awkwardly between farce and drama, spoof and romcom. It qualifies as the year's biggest TV disappointment so far.

[Space Force's] breezy, weightless plots aren't backed up with anything of import or depth - and its refusal to penetrate the idiotic surface of its bumbling, bone-headed protagonist is disturbingly empty.

Meh....
I can see where I disagree with those critics. I actually don't usually like the character that main actor plays. I find it uncomfortable and just cringey to watch.... I couldn't stand the Office because of it.

This seems a little less painful, more amusing. For a show to watch the last 30min before I go to bed, I'm totally good with it.

Besides, Ram likes it. That's more meaningful than any rotten tomatoes critics
