Roads are pretty slippery. Snows not that bad but the problem is its coming down sideways.

4wd hi is wonderful. Blasted through several drifts, got up hills id have to have a running start for in my old trucks. It was great. Never had 4wd in my truck before

Snowblowed the driveway but the wind backfilled every row I cut. Ill do one more pass around 10p and get back to it in the morning. Probably gonna need to shovel it come morning though. Drifts already over the hubs on my truck.

Chit Ron, if I caught a 5lb fish of any type I'd be elated.

Someday I want to do a charter fishing trip. Either locally on lake Michigan or on an ocean.

I like catching, but not a huge fan of fishing.

Got a couple buddies who guide for blues and flatheads locally.......just let me know if you're ever interested I'll see if I can get you the "Friends and Family Discount".

This time of year Palmetto bass(hybrid stripers) to 20-25 lbs are not uncommon on live bait fishing for blues.I hung one a couple weeks ago prolly 15-20 lb class.......bastid spit the hook bout 20 yards off shore. They are some fighting sumbitches

Yep... fought a bluefin for an hour... seen him 3 times. Then he shook the jig out of his mouth and my heart broke.

I've fought a bluegill for 30 seconds or so on a Ron Popeil pocket fisherman once.

I think the biggest fish fight I've had was a catfish that was probably pushing 8lbs. I fish with very light gear, cause I don't catch much and a 4" crappie is satisfying. I got it to the shore, but couldn't get it out of the water.

Just snowblowed round two. Only did wife's garage half of the driveway. I can drive over snow. Plus I'm on the east side where the wind is coming from, and will refill with snow when I clear it.

I think I'm in for a good bit of work in the morning. Wind is whipping the snow up with a fury. Not much coming down, but any low spot is filled in by the wind.

Its not so much the volume as it is the motion.

Not much falling, but it blows to find a void. I.e. the cleared driveway.

Screwed it up shadow boxing with the microwave oven.

An impingement of the shoulder and aggravated bursa. Makes shoveling moderately painful.

Didn't bother trying to get a jump on it last night with the wind. Am currently glaring at the snow in a threatening manner. No effect yet, but I'm hopeful

New neighbor is a single lady and wife said I should help her with the driveway. She was shoveling, but has a 100ft driveway, gonna take a while.

Went over there with the snowblower and I got about 20ft cleared in a half hour but the damn thing would not stay running. It would come back to life if I hit the priming bulb, so I figured there was a vacuum leak. Took it home, took the covers off and the hoses were still flexible, dont think that was the issue. Dropped the carb bowl and that gasket turned to dust. Found some small diameter tubing, coated it with grease, put the thing back together and it ran great. Got back to work.

Then neighbor girl said she had a tractor with a plow in the garage. I was thinking a lawn tractor not gonna be able to move any of this snow. Nope. She had a medium duty john deere bucket loader in there. I tried to get it running but couldn't get power to the ignition switch. She said its her uncles tractor, just storing it there, so I didn't want to get too deep into it. Told her to call him to mess with it.

Went and ran errands, stopped at gramma n grampas house and snowmobiles with the boy. Came home and snowblower leaked the whole tank of gas on the floor. Smelly 2 stroke premix, thats not going away anytime soon.

Too young for me, but not bad on the eyes. She's nice, and has a dog that I like.

She's just a bit in over her head with home ownership in this area. Started off with a push mower last summer too, with an acre lot.

She replaced an awesome neighbor who was super helpful with anything and everything, so I figure I should try to fill Gene's shoes.

Did that with the push mower for about a year at my first house. I was young and broke.luckily the neighbors took pity on me often. Maybe cause I was young and not bad on the eyes.

Finished clearing snow here. Plus side gave me time for a smoke. Down side, may have had a minor stroke. Oh well. Didn't really use the left half anyway

Snow is coming down nicely in The Jerz. Laying a nice layer of the white stuff on the ground.

Reminds me of a bad night when we dropped a bag of blow on the floor. Ended up hurting my nose on a few actual rocks that were on the ground.

Oh, the good ole' days.

Just got done shoveling the driveway again. Snowblower won't run now, cant even get it started. Leaks gas out faster than you can pour it in. Guess the grease on my makeshift gasket dissolved. Gotta order some real parts.

Bought some chicken wings... 10 lb bag from Sam's club. My wife seasoned a bunch of them, fried them up and then tossed them in some butter and hot sauce.

Sweet mother of Jesus... best hot wings I ever had. Good Lawd, they were delicious.
