Morning folks.
Start of the work week for me and the guy I'm working with has been asleep for about 2 hours and its hands down the loudest snoring I've ever heard, I work in a seaport and his snoring is actually drowning out the noises outside. What's even better is when he stops breathing and starts again. Part of me wants to wake his ass up and tell him to get some help, the other part figures if he dies, then it will be quiet.
I don't know what to do, maybe I'll think about it over a morning smoke.

Record it with your cellphone.

Morning, all. I'm willing to compete with snoring guy for the title. I'm told I'm pretty good with volume, and I have clinical proof of not breathing 5-6 times a night. I prefer to think of it as my lungs taking a short break. You might even say they're taking a breather

<--------- Saw a small sounder (also called a squadron) of these on my morning 5 miler. In the wild they scatter if they see you coming but the ones around my hood have become accustomed to people and they will just stop feeding and stare at you in a defensive posture. They are not aggressive to humans unless they feel cornered or have babies to protect but they will attack dogs since they look like coyotes which are their main enemy.

My wife claims I do the same. I dont know how she could possibly know that since I'm constantly waking up to her snoring.
My room must sound like a freight train crossing a minefield at night.

Cloudy, breezy, 55 today.

Yesterday was a get together of immediate family. Quirky, potentially volatile group of 16 people. Set my expectations at Low, hoped for Good. Turned out Great.

Today has been low key, relaxing and peaceful. Smoking a My Father.

Seems right.

Ask ACME to review their parking lot security cameras. They likely still have the video.

emotionally-she was cruising nicely for several weeks but then hit a bump in the road a few days ago...looking like she may pull out of it.
This could be the pattern for a long time...

physically- prolly gonna have her thyroid removed but not immediately. Follow up with kidney guy being moved from July to August so we can take a couple weeks in Hyannis. Couple other things as yet unclear.

Evening, gents.

8track - very good, brother... happy that went well.
Rfenst - good to hear. Hope recovery goes well.
Frankie - maybe I missed it, didn't know TLC was hurtin'... hope it all turns out for the best.

Spent the day with the kiddo, made plans to do so again before we depart next week. Went to my buddy Art's house. We're fishing tomorrow. Weather is overcast, but not windy or bumpy until late, water temp is not great but it'll do. I've got a positive feeling... but if you'se guys wanna send more positive vibes for a great day of fishing, we'll take it!

Either way, it's going to be fun. Just Art and I, like it usually is. Friday the 3rd musketeer, Mike, will join us.

Don't feel bad for him missing tomorrow, though... he's livin' the dream with the wifey in Hawaii right now.

Howdy all yous.

8track - my best to you brother.
Toasting you and your father, and your bond together.

Rfenst - wishing a successful recovery for your wife’s feetsies

Papa - wishing all the best for the lovely Caren.

Bucky - hope smashing your noggin doesn’t change the wonderful deranged fella that you are.

MACS - enjoy the heck outta your time on the high seas.
Wish you all the bounty your boat can hold.

Anyone I’ve missed - PM me.
I’ll light a prayer candle for ya.
Or a crack pipe.
Depending on what you prefer…

Morning prayer was about Rejoicing in our Suffering. Tough one for me to effectively adapt to that, but will give that a try. Most of us struggle with something(s) every day.

Perfect advise!

And, for every business around there and or the owner of the building, who may have its own surveillance videos.

Once cracked a $175k settlement for a client after doing this type of leg-work on my own.

It pays to try and look if anyone has any surveillance backed up.

Nice enough this afternoon to set out in the shade and have a smoke without getting in the pool. It's been cooler this June usual with temps only getting to high 80s low 90s and very low RH so far. It's coming though.

How is Buckey's mental acuity doing today? Just read an article talking about personal responsibility vs societal norms. The author said he had a right to choose to not ware a helmet but society and insurance should have the right to not scrape his ass off the pavement and administer health care. Anxious

Hope all is well Buckey.

10 hours of work on the button today.

Good weather for the gig- no rain low to mid 60s.

Grilled chicken and asparagus for dinner tonight. Maybe a rhubarb muffin for dessert.

Still a little cloudy with a throbbing head, some slight blurred vision and ringing ears 24/7. This morning was the first time in a week where I felt comfortable enough to stand up in the shower rather than sit on one of those handicapped chairs. I felt mostly good during most of the day at work but at the end of the day I was getting kinda dizzy stumbling again. I think it will just have to run it's course and I need to take it easy. Meanwhile I'm trying to hide it and act tough, I can't stand to be bedridden while going though it. Work has been completely supportive and understanding which is a positive.

I didn't realize how much a concussion can drag on or make typical day to day things less easy. My opinion is I should be over it by now. One other problem is that I can't get a good nights sleep. I'm up every hour or so then I screw around for 30 min and try to get back to sleep.

Oh well, just gotta roll with it until it clears up and need to schedule a doctor follow up sometime this week and/or next week. I'm sure I'll survive. One positive is that I have a better understanding and compassion for others that have sustained head injuries.

They are calling for rain over night and on and off the next couple days. I'll prolly be a lazy ass until the end of the week.

That's sad to hear and I'm in denial.

Really didn't need to pick up the refill at the pharmacy that day. It was raining on and off and during the break in the rain, I just hopped on the bike for a quick ride there and a quick ride back. Literally only 4 or 5 blocks away. Little did I know, that those 5 min would end me up in the emergency room and the ICU at two different hospitals for 3 days until I could negotiate for them to let me go home.

Hindsight and stubbornness is 20/20 and I'm paying for that unnecessary bike ride. I can't change things now but I just need to learn from them.

Any legal/civil recourse against the person who opened their door into you? Most cities have laws about having to look before opening a door into traffic/bike lanes. Did the door-opener get a ticket?

Good Tuesday Morning to All! It's 69° on the way to 86° today. Another range day today.

Got a call from my best friend yesterday, he lives in Arizona so we visit by phone most of the time. He's on the mend now from getting a replacement heart valve. They installed it without cracking his chest! Like replacing a fuel injector though the gas cap of a car. I'm pretty happy he is still with us. [-o<
