my father brought me up to try just about anything. very little that I don't like that I've tried.
Its easier to list what I don't like . pottied meat , tomatos, most forms of liver .

odd stuff that I've tried. eel (fresh -fried , and grilled ,unaki ) , octupus (had some last sat raw ,also canned in ink ,etc) , squid (lots of ways) , rooster fries (like them fried crunchy with flour) , limburger cheese (love the stuff) , whole habaneros (not odd but most don't eat them , if you can taste past the hot their sweet) , most any wild game (rabbit , gator , boar, goat, sheep ,elk , caribu , moose ,deer , bear , squirll , raccon , porcupine , etc) , robbin , dove , duck , goose ,wild turkey , tons of fish (love sushi), durian (loved it) and most other exotic fruits , emu, ostrich, rea, and eggs from the big birds listed (very strong egg taste) ,and more that will come to me after I hit post.

some that I reall want to try.
rattle snake (I've hunted them but ended up empty handed) , horse , dog (probly had some but didn't know it) , jelly fish , urchin , etc I'm sure.

something that my dad used to eat with my grandfather (his FIL) was canibal sandwitches . it started with a slice of pumpernickel bread with limburger cheese on it , next was a raw hamburger patty , a raw egg , slice of onion, tommato and lettuce with some mustard on a slice of rye on top. haven't quite gotten around to that one yet . sounds good minus the tommato.

Haven’t had too much weird, exotic stuff. Alligator sausage would be able my most “exotic.”

Conan bumping a 15 year old thread. I'll chime in too

I had balut this summer. That's weird and "exotic"

I look forward to pickled herring at Christmas every year

I've eaten ant eggs in fried rice.

I've eaten squirrel. Not exotic, but weird.

I'll try just about anything once or twice. The only thing I can think of right now that's absolutely off limits is surstromming. Had a great uncle who would eat that stuff.

Squirrel rabbit deer elk. Grew up eating that stuff as normal. Pig scrapple is delicious. Skate (the stingray like winged sea critter) frog legs. Most of the strange root vegetables like melango
Conch (the thing you pick up on the beach and hear the ocean)
Polk berry greens They’re supposedly toxic. You gotta rinse em and stuff they say. Tasted like pretty good greens to me. I’d eat ‘em again

I’m the snake
