No tailgater. People don't like him because he's black and a muslim. grab your balls and stop denying what everyone already knows. Personally I feel that he was put in place just as planned. Earmarked for the past 15 years. half black, but not full black. just what we needed. You birthers (right or wrong who knows?) were an expected ripple, but your own ignorance and racism are the downfall of any true progress in moving forward with the issue.

In other words, the birthers may very well be right. But their clearly evident racism and hatred of muslims and blacks makes them easy to brush off as nitwits.

Fiddler, just my opinion and I can't offer proof. I do know that just like our military and our corporations, nothing is left to a "vote." Voting is to make us feel good. Important.

I was told in my Army days that the best and only way to become a General is to work for one. Or have a father that was one. Making coffee and doing slideshows for a General as a lieutenant will get you a star, not doing your job to the best of your ability. It's the politics we work off of.

Obama was earmarked long ago for this role. So was his replacement. That person will be known to us all soon enough.

Meanwhile the voters haggle back and forth calling each other names. We needed a war, we got Bush. We needed Hope and Change, we got Obama. In two years, whatever "they" need "they" will put a man in place for us to get it done.

I don't know. Whoever "they" are. I had heard nothing of him or Palin until this last election. They sorta just got pulled out of a hat. Obama marked to win, Palin marked to lose. I would imagine, if our Government operates like any other corporation that they are planning and brainstorming just who and what will be the next four years. We have no say. We vote for who "they" pick for us. I just don't worry about it. They could vote in a one legged green wino for all I care, I still am gonna die one day, and they still will be running things. Such is life.

If this is all I have, does it mean that I really was not born in Calif.? I am not a US Citizen because I can not produce a "long-form" birth certificate? All I have is the "worthless" piece of paper know as a "Certificate of Live Birth"."

We had that CA short form for my son, and could not get a passport with it. I had to jump through some hoops to quickly get the long-form birth certificate from CA so we could get the passport in time for the travel. You must have some pull with the Dept. of State if they accepted your short form.

"Certificate of Live Birth" ...We had that form for my son, and could not get a passport with it. I had to jump through some hoops to quickly get the long-form birth certificate from CA so we could get the passport in time for the travel.

You guys seriously should just get past that, and if you really feel that somehow he is in office as a Muslim from Kenya, then dammit, what makes you think that this coverup will be exposed by YOU? If he is in office without a Birth Certificate then guess what? There's not a damn thing you or even Ted Turner can do to correct it. It's like that because that's how THEY (the executives that run this country...the board of directors) want it.

It could be a game-changer.

A plan in Arizona to require presidential candidates to prove their eligibility to occupy the Oval Office is approaching critical mass, even though it has just been introduced.

The proposal from state Rep. Judy Burges, who carried a similar plan that fell short last year only because of political maneuvering, was introduced yesterday with 16 members of the state Senate as co-sponsors.

It needs only 16 votes in the Senate to pass.

In the House, there are 25 co-sponsors, with the need for only 31 votes for passage, and Burges told WND that there were several chamber members who confirmed they support the plan and will vote for it, but simply didn't wish to be listed as co-sponsors.

Bad grammer on my part, VaMtMan. I meant to say "Do you really think that your opinion, voiced on this board, will make any difference to the powers that be?" By that I meant that whining on a cigar forum is not near the "takin' it to the streets" that my main man Michael MacDonald was referring to. My apologies. I do like your walk suggestion though, so I'm gonna have a toke and do just that. Cheers.
