I was reading the op-ed page this morning in the Chicago Trib, where are the lawyers and AG's?
The company has not been blamed for any hiring discrimination, just an opinion of its owner, does that mean that a Chicago alderman can stop the building of a church, mosque and temple too because of their stand on this same issue?
What a bunch of BS, not to mention all the jobs the guy has now denied his community.
Chicago style, what a way to live...

AND I ate at one last week, extra pickles and one mayo, fabulous!

just remembered something that happened here a few years ago.... there is an Italian resturant we ate at about once a week or so... good food.. prices weren't too bad... one day my boss finds out the owner and about half his staff marched in some gay-homo pride parade thing and we havn't eaten there since... the gay-homo thing kindof back-fired on them.... 🤔

I honestly don't know if I believe any of these places have actually been blocked. For the very reason that there aren't any Lawyers running around looking for a percentage. A mayor can say all they want about a particular business not belonging in their fair city. That doesn't mean that the business is going to be denied any particular license without cause. If they did that it would create an automatic opening for a lawyer to make some $$, and we all know there isn't a lawyer that can't resist jumping for $$.

I'd need proof to believe that this is anything more than posturing by a politician. Hell, for Chicago and whatever other cities, do we even know if ChikFliA even has applied for any licenses to operate or even wants to open a store there?
