Thousands of years of history, and numerous civilizations come and gone have shown that this will NEVER happen.
The minute you make something that is good for pretty much everyone, you'll get a swarm of parasites that will feed off of it, all the while holding themselves up as a paragon of virture because they "serve" the people.
So what you get is the smothering behemoth.
And people like Jay Z and Beyonce with enough money and star power to exempt themselves from the clutches of the behmoth.
(I would also place Hockeydad in that category, as he is under the Cone of Protection.)
