The way CNSNews presented the information is misleading. The question Gallup asked in the survey DMV cited is “What do you think is the most important problem facing the country today?” (The added emphasis is mine).

This does not mean:



It means that 4% of Americans think gun control is the most important problem.

Although I must say that I'm very sympathetic to DMV's position on how the Sandy Hook victim's families were trotted out for show. Emotional appeals...sigh.
