Congratulations! My wife and I have been retired for a little over a year now. I cannot tell you how much happier we are to be retired, it's fantastic!
We have been very lucky, we worked like crazy all our lives and saved for retirement. Two other factors that really helped us, following Dave Ramsey's debt free living and an employer that had 401k like savings program and not a pension plan.
Retired - Only from reality and smoking cigars (probably not permanently but the ones I have need a little more age on them before I can dig back into them). 🌫
